Description
Philips Avent bottles are made from pharmaceutical-grade borosilicate glass that’s heat and thermal-shock resistant. You can store them in the fridge, warm them up and sterilize without worry of breakage.
Wide and soft, the Natural Response nipples let baby control the flow of milk, similar to breastfeeding. The unique opening and only releases milk when baby actively drinks so when they pause to swallow and breathe, the milk pauses, too. This makes it easier to switch back and forth between breast and bottle feeding. They’re also a no-drip design to prevent lost milk.
The nipples have an Anti-colic valve designed to reduce the amount of air baby ingests while feeding, which helps with common issues like colic, reflux and gas.

Best Answer: It is not recommended for freezer storage because glass can be vulnerable to breakage from the temperature extremes and the expansion of milk as it freezes.

I chose a 1 star because the only thing I like about these bottles are that they are glass. The nipples are so hard for my newborn to suck that she can't get any milk out and wears herself out so much that she just sleeps and won't eat enough. I bought what I thought would be enough bottles so that we could use just the Philips Avent bottles and also newborn and size 3 nipples. My newborn can't even suck the milk out of the size 3 nipples. They leak horribly
They leak. Worst thread design ever. Save yourself the frustration of trying to find the perfect lock for the top only to dump 2oz of milk on your baby when you flip it upside down. Do. Not. Buy.

Worst bottles ever!
These Avent glass bottles are a nightmare. They leak EVERY time, no matter how carefully I close them. After warming, they pop open and spill milk all over my baby. Total waste of money and milk. I’d rather buy Evenflo or Gulicola bottles any day – at least they actually work!

Poor lid, spills everywhere
I wanted to enjoy these bottles so bad but the lid doesn’t screw on properly. The amount of milk that spills on myself and my baby is ridiculous. It’s been 3 months and I am officially done, time to switch to different brand.

good bottles terrible lids
I love these they're very good size and durability, they hold up well in the dishwasher but the lids leave a bit to be desired. If you over tighten them they become unreliable and will leak and sometimes unscrew mid feeding and spill all over the baby. Phillips avent doesn't sell replacement but you can get some on Amazon by Maymom

Why do these bottles leak so badly??? It’s almost impossible to get the lid on perfectly straight but even if you do they might still leak. We’ve been drenched so many times. So much wasted breast milk. The lid can be screwed on all the way, you can test it and still end up with milk leaking from where it screws on. They’re good besides that but this is a horrible flaw. I’ve bought multiple packages and they all do it. This should not be a thing! Fix this!! After 5 months I’ve had enough, I’ll be switching bottles.

My babies favorite bottle

My baby absolutely loves these bottles. They are perfect for her! I either breastfeed or bottle feed (it’s about 50/50 each day), and these are the only bottles she will take. It’s hard to get a partially breastfed baby to like any bottles at all- but these were seamless. When she was just a few weeks old, other bottles gave her horrible gas and reflux. Poor thing was miserable. These do not! They have a perfect flow and don’t make her gassy. What a lifesaver all the way around. I’m so grateful…

So grateful for Stellar Reviews sending me this baby bottle set, my life is so much better now that I can put bottles in the dishwasher. I love the glass bottle so much, I definitely need to get more. I'm an ER nurse so my 12 hour days mean a lot of washing at the end of the night and now at least I don't have to wash bottles. I have five kids and this was my first time using a glass bottle. I didn’t expect to love it so much more than its plastic counterparts, but man alive was I wrong!!
There are two main reason I liked it as much as I did.
