Description
This set includes five glass bottles and two bottle sleeves. Philips Avent bottles are made from pharmaceutical-grade borosilicate glass that’s heat and thermal-shock resistant. You can store them in the fridge, warm them up and sterilize without worry of breakage.
Wide and soft, the Natural Response nipples let baby control the flow of milk, similar to when breastfeeding. This makes it easier to switch back and forth between breast and bottle feeding. They’re also a no-drip design to prevent lost milk and the Anti-colic valve reduces discomfort and colic.
The insulating silicone sleeve helps protect the bottle while making it easier to grip.

Are these bottles for 0-12 months?
Best Answer: This has three 4 oz bottles with Natural Response nipples Flow 2, which is for 0m+ and two 8 oz bottles with Natural Response nipples Flow 3, which is for 1m+. You may want to increase the flow with age, depending on your child.
How durable are they? Anybody break one? Can it survive a baby/toddler drop?

Best Answer: There were no updates made to the nipple or cap design of the Philips Avent Glass Natural Bottle set since 2023. The bottle still uses the Natural Response Teat, which flows only when the baby actively drinks, and includes the Air-Free vent to help reduce gas and colic.
Are these bottles BPS and phthalate free as well?
Best Answer: Yes, the Avent baby bottles and all of its components do not contain Phthalates, BPA or BPS.

Tops fall off
The plastic tops will not stay on the glass bottles and milk spills everywhere. So frustrating

Sometimes leaks
I do like the idea of using gas instead of plastic. My baby does still get air from this bottle because we are paced feeding. So he gets fussy and hard to put down at times which I’m guessing is from gas. My biggest complaint is that the bottle will sometimes leak from the top (not the nipple but the white plastic part that screws on to the bottle that anchors the nipple), even when we make sure it is screwed on correctly.

These frustrated my husband and I so bad. I thought I would try to avoid microplastics with these, but I’d be willing to risk it rather than use these bottles. You’d have to be a freaking rocket scientist to screw the lid on in a way where it doesn’t leak all over you and your child constantly. I’m so glad I primarily used formula in these because if my pumped breast milk spilled I would have been devastated. Unless you feel like changing and bathing your child 72 times a day, I can’t recommend…

The glass bottles are great for mixing formula, but we struggled with using the nipples for the 0m and had to size up.

Surprised
Obsessed with these! I was skeptical about the glass but with the silicone cover you can knock them on the floor and they’re fine. I love knowing there’s not bacteria growing in the fibers of the plastic like the other bottles.
