Description
The Vava Baby Monitor makes sure you see and hear every detail in total clarity.
Check on baby’s tiny movements with a 720p clear view and large 5” high-definition display during the day, and clear grey-scale infrared images throughout the night. One-touch 2x and 4x zoom lets you see up-close, or you can pull back and get a panoramic view. It delivers stable video anytime, indoors and out, within a 900-ft range.
The Vava also has audio and video monitoring with a seven-level sound volume and LED indicators. Set the volume to high to hear your newborn breathing (or to easily awaken parents who are heavy sleepers), or set it to low to capture sounds like crying. You can also listen with the screen off.
Two-way talk allows you to both soothe and hear you baby, and room temperature monitoring lets you know baby is comfortable.
The improved rechargeable battery gives you 24-hours in audio-only mode and 10-hours in live-screen mode.

Does it require WiFi ?
Best Answer: No, the VAVA Baby Monitor does not require WiFi.
Can I connect another camera and view both at once?
Best Answer: You can connect up to 4 cameras to this monitor but you can only view them in the alternate screen mode. You can't view both at once.
If I want the dual screen feature in the future, can I just buy an additional camera later and the dual screen feature will be available on the same monitor?

Does this include the 18 month warranty that’s offered on the official Vava website?
Best Answer: Absolutely! The warranty is offered by the manufacturer. You will just need to registry your monitor with Vava. I would like to point out though that the 30-day money-back-guarantee only applies to items purchased directly from Vava.
Where can I buy the wider lens? It says you can make the lens wider but sold separately?

Can I connect another camera to this?

Is the base magnetic? Can this be used wireless or does it always need to be plugged in?
Best Answer: The base is not magnetic, and the camera needs to be plugged in to function. The parent unit can be charged and used without a cord for up to 10 hours.
Can this connect manually without WiFi?
Best Answer: It sure does! This baby monitor does not require WiFi to connect.
Would this work well for traveling?
Best Answer: This will work as long as the camera is plugged into a power source and the monitor transmission range is within 900 feet.

Stopped charging @ 22 months
worked well for 22 months but then stopped charging and won't work at all now. Vava will not replace or provide any options for discounted replacement. Replacement monitor only is $129.

Cheaply made and no customer service from Vava
These monitors are cheaply made and do not last, and customer service is terrible.
My first monitor started making a loud buzzing sound 3 months after starting to use it.
Vava replaced it, but made me send my monitor back before sending a new one. They did not send the replacement for over a week. As a new mother this gave me anxiety and I purchased a different monitor so I didn’t have to be without one.

Doesn’t Charge - no support
Had this device for a short time. Issues with it charging started shortly after. It would only charge if the cord was bent in a specific way by the monitor. Eventually that didn’t work and we bought a new cord which helped for a little while. But now it will not charge at all regardless of the cord. Customer service is a joke. Same issues noted all over Reddit. I essentially have a $100 paperweight. Do NOT buy from this company.

Excellent Monitor
The camera is clear and has great range. It can seamlessly move to see your baby's room from all angles. It stays charged over night, and it lists the time of day and the temperature on the monitor screen. The brightness and volume can be easily adjusted. You can also zoom in the camera.

Literally Fell Apart and Won’t Hold a Charge
I’m writing this review after having using this product for 17 months. Please do with information what you’d like, but I would avoid the Vava at all costs.
It started off really well. The camera quality looked good, the battery life was good, and it was user friendly. After about 4-5 months of use, the stand on the back became loose and would just flap around. Fast forward another 6 months and the antenna snapped off… fast forward 4 more months and now it’s struggling to hold a charge…

Doesn't hold a charge after 18 months
The first 18 months of using this were good; it nearly always was showing video in real-time (though would occasionally lag and the image get messed up). It travelled easily enough, though the camera is a bit bulky. However, over the past two months, the monitor does not hold a charge and even when plugged in 24/7, the battery is at zero or 1 bar. Absolutely Terrible Product
Terrible product, do not put this on your registry. After a short period of use, it will stop charging and will die in the middle of the night, leaving you unable to see or hear your baby. The Vava customer service is beyond terrible and unwilling to assist. Go with a different brand! You will regret getting this.

Do not purchase this POS
Monitor screen plug stopped working right at a year after purchase and it only has a 30 day warranty. I unfortunately didn’t read the reviews before purchasing but now I’m seeing multiple reviews about the same thing. You cannot replace just the screen. The thing is trash, back to the drawing board I suppose
