8 Questions
Can I get audio for both rooms simultaneously?

Best Answer:  The VAVA Dual Baby Monitor with Split Screen allows you to view live video feeds from two rooms simultaneously. However, it does not support simultaneous audio from both rooms. In split-screen mode, the monitor plays audio from the selected active camera, and you can manually switch the audio source between cameras as needed.

What does hack free mean?

Best Answer:  Hack free means no one can gain access to the monitor without your permission. That's because this is a non-WiFi system and the baby unit only works with the parent unit (monitor) it came in the box with.

Can you get an additional monitor (not camera)?

Best Answer:  There is no additional monitor available for this product.

Is the monitor always in split screen view or can it be in single screen also?

Best Answer:  The parent unit or monitor screen can be switched between split-screen view and single camera view.

How long is the power cord for the camera?

Best Answer:  The camera comes with a 1.5m/4.9 ft-long Micro-USB cable.

Is my current VAVA capable of split screen? And if so, is there instructions on how to do this after purcahsing an additional camera?

Best Answer:  The original VAVA monitor and parent unit that is sold with one camera can connect with additional cameras, but it does not have the split-screen function. Only the new parent unit sold with two cameras has the split-screen function.

Does the camera wall mount?

Best Answer:  The camera can mount to the wall. The bottom of the camera stand has an area to allow mounting with a screw or other hardware.

Can this connect to my phone?

Best Answer:  No, this baby monitor is not Wi-Fi-enabled, so you can’t connect it to your phone.

Didn't last a year and terrible customer service
I would strongly recommend staying away from this brand. At first we absolutely loved our monitor, but it stopped charging around the 1 year mark. Conveniently, the "warranty" it comes with is only for the first year (perfect timing, right?) Upon contacting the company about our issue, they basically said tough luck since it was over a year since the purchase date. Do not recommend if you don't want to spend a lot of money twice.

Didn’t last us a year
I received this gift from our registry in January 2023. Vava only has a one year warranty from when the item was purchased. We did not start using this monitor until our daughter moved to her room in October 2023. Not even a year of using it and it won’t hold a charge, even plugged in it won’t stay on. I contacted their customer service and they were incredibly unhelpful, saying it was no longer in warranty and I could purchase a new one. I do not recommend this monitor at all since it didn’t even last us a year.

Won’t charge
We loved our dual baby monitor but it all of the sudden stopped charging and it won’t hold a charge if I do get a charge after messing with the cord. We haven’t even had it for a year. Reading other reviews, this seems common unfortunately.

Really, don’t buy this monitor
We purchased the VAVA monitor 13 months ago but didn’t begin using it until baby transitioned to her crib at 6 months. It worked okay for about 4 months and then out of nowhere started making a really strange buzzing sound. Then, it stopped charging unless the chord was being held in the exact right position. It stops charging randomly throughout the night and has even powered off while my baby is sleeping. I have tried different charging cables, plug ports, and outlets. I have completed

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
DO NOT spend your money on this monitor!!!!! Our monitor stopped charging after about 9mo of use. Conveniently, this was right after vava’s warranty expired. (1yr warranty, and we got this before our baby was born and didn’t use for the first few months of her life. Same exact thing happened to TWO other friends who have the same monitor. Vava was not helpful, telling us that they couldn’t help since it was no longer under warranty, but sent a 15% off coupon code and suggested we purchase a newer version. Definitely will not be replacing this with another vava monitor.

Good quality and it's very easy to use. I like it that it's a split screen so that I can watch my boys in different rooms in one monitor at the same time. I've had it for over one year with no issues. Strongly recommend it.

DO NOT BUY
I wish I didn’t have to give any stars. The product doesn’t work, and VAVA customer service didn’t help at all. DO NOT BUY! So sad that somehow the good reviews are false.

Buyer Beware
I purchased a Vava monitor through Target less than 6 months ago. It is faulty and does not work unless it is plugged in— defeating the purpose. After many emails with Vava Customer Support, I was promised a replacement that has not arrived after weeks of waiting and reminder emails. I have an infant and do not have time to keep sending reminder messages. I have provided the company with proof of purchase, all the requested serial numbers, and a video of the issues. I now want to share my experience and buy a new monitor from a competitor. I do not recommend a Vava monitor.

Okay overall. Worked well for about 18 months but then the charger / parent unit started getting finicky. The charger had to be at just the right angle for it to charge. It deteriorated quickly and wouldn’t hold a charge unless it was plugged in (and still at exactly the right angle) and would shut off completely after a few seconds if not charging. Customer service couldn’t do anything except offer $15 off a replacement parent unit. My only other complaint is that the lowest setting for
