About this Product
  • Fits most microwaves
  • Fast process
  • Comes with tongs
  • Holds up to four bottles and other feeding items

Do you need a sterilizer? Parents with immune-compromised babies swear by sterilizers because they kill 99.9% of germs, but other families find they do not use them enough to be worth it. If you are on the fence about whether to get a hefty (and pricey) electric sterilizer, a microwave version is a good in between. They are easy to use and smaller than electric ones.

This is sterilizer is designed to hold standard or wide-neck bottles and work with most microwaves to get items germ-free. It’s as simple as adding water and whatever items you want to sterilize - bottles, nipples, breast pumps, baby spoons and bowls - before closing the lid. Set the microwave for two to eight minutes (it depends on individual wattage) and, voila, contents are purified by steam. The included tongs make removing items before they cool down possible without scorching your fingers.

However, inserting the bottles at an angle into the sterilizer can be kind of a pain. But, once correctly positioned, they stay in place.

Not easy to use and seemed unnecessary.

We only used it once, not sure it’s worth the use of space. I would look up other ways to sterilize the bottles that doesn’t involving having to purchase something like this 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's a good product, but we don't use it. It's easier for us to use the dishwasher.
