Does this have an expiration date? If I get it 2 months before due date will it be ok?
Best Answer: The Earth Mama Organic Nipple Butter has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture. You will be totally fine if you buy one now. You just want to use it all up within that timeframe.

Multiple Uses, Safe Ingredients
Love this stuff. One tiny jar goes a really long way; I am 4 1/2 months postpartum and only half way through my first jar, and I use it multiple times daily. A little goes a long way. It melts and spreads very easy. I use it for my nips and my lips! It smells great but has no flavor. It works well as a nipple lubricant for pumping and to provide some healing after to sensitive nipples.

Amazing!
I got this at target. My friend recommended it. Absolutely amazing product. When i was first breastfeeding it was very painful and i was very dry and had scabs. Using this product whenever i get dry clears up any discomfort from breastfeeding. You also dont have to wipe it off before feeding. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is breastfeeding. Its a lifesaver

Mild & Meh
It is just meh. I used it a lot on my nipples when I first started breastfeeding. Then after not getting the relief I needed, I mixed in so many other products. The nipple butter is better than nothing at all, but it is such a mild product. Spend your money on silverettes instead. That's where I found real healing. I'm going to keep the nipple butter because I have it, but I wouldn't buy it again. (Coming from someone who loves Earth Mama Perineal Balm.)

Hated by baby
My baby absolutely hates this and will not nurse if I've used it. Additionally it smells terrible. I'm sad I wasted my money on an unuseable product

Last so long!
I breastfeed and pump multiple times per day and this is the only thing that gets me through. Plus this can be used for chapped lips, heels, and dry knuckles in the winter!

Clumpy and curdled
I have purchased probably 8-10 of these from various retailers in stores and online all well within their expiration dates and they are ALL clumpy and curdled looking and have a funny smell I will be switching to a new brand not worth my $14

Long lasting, registry must have
Started using this right away when pumping and the lubrication increased comfort significantly and seems to also increase output (likely because it reduced pain). I triple fed for almost two months using this only when pumping and was able to avoid cracked nipples. I registered for a two pack, consistently pumped (not exclusively but multiple times per day) throughout the first year of my baby's life and I am just now having to buy another container. The couple of times I have forgotten a container, the pumping session has been rough. Certainly one of my most used post partum products.

This product requires one thing, dry skin!
I’m only a fur mama as of today, but my nipples were sooooooo super dry, I did a little online research, fell in love with the organic ingredients. It’s always nice when you can pronounce everything in the list and have some sort of knowledge regarding the ingredients.
