The pillow is fine, but I didn't end up finding it useful. Having to get up from seated and use two hands to put it on is prohibitive. The cover is hard to put back on after washing.

Definitely Recommend!
I genuinely loved this nursing pillow!! I have a shorter torso so it worked a lot better with getting my baby in a good spot! I started with a different brand, but my baby would slide in between me and the pillow and not get a good angle to latch. This comes right against your tummy to prevent that. I also had a C-Section and this was gentle as it could be against my tummy. Obviously some discomfort because of the tenderness of the incision but you can tighten and loosen the strap as needed! Absolutely love this pillow for nursing. My baby was latching inconsistently and I was struggling to position him correctly while I was using a regular pillow. When I started using this one, he latches better, eats for longer, and his head is perfectly aligned. It is also comfortable and provides good support.

Must Have
Invaluable! Really helped my breastfeeding experience. Makes a huge difference to have the pillow attached to you and be able to keep it up high at your waist. Acts as an extra arm to keep baby secure. I do wish the cover was waterproof, since the foam gets grungy from spit up, drool, etc. I keep one in the nursery and one in the family room, and store it upright in a large gift bag from the baby shower (for example, the “Large ABC’s and Animals” bag from Target is the perfect fit) since it is a little awkward to store.

Best Purchase for Breastfeeding Success
Definitely get this if you plan to breastfeed. The boppy pillow is cuter in my opinion, but this is hands down more functional for nursing a newborn. My lactation consultant recommended this pillow when we were having trouble with a good latch in the first few days and it made all the difference in the world. It wasn’t my breast friend at all
This helped a bit Bfing my newborn but at 2 months she was too long to bother using this. Not to mention it’s such a hassle to get it on and off while your new baby is crying.

Get the Deluxe
Wish I scrutinized the reviews better. Had I known I would have sprung for the Deluxe version with better specs and inner waterproof cover! Because of the structure I still have a better nursing experience when I use this pillow than any bed/lounge pillows, so I will keep using. Baby loves it, though at 3 months her legs are hanging off.
It’s a bummer that this version isn’t waterproof (you have to buy a separate inner cover—lame), and you really should get an extra cover so you aren’t SOL…

I was excited to receive this and wanted to love it so much. I didn’t like it at all. Material is awful, rough and synthetic-like. Inside feels like hard foam, not soft at all. Returned.

This pillow came highly recommended. It was too much effort to use, especially at night. I ended up just using a regular pillow instead and I liked that much better. If you are wanting back support though this might work for you.
