Description
The Chair made its debut in 1972 and has been going strong ever since (Stokke calls it a “chair for life” for a reason). Devotees love the iconic Scandinavian design that’s highly functional and looks great with your grown-up decor.
This versatile chair brings your baby right up to the table to join the family meal. The adjustable design has both depth-and height-adjustable seat and footplates for ergonomic seating position at any age. The footplate effectively brings the floor up to your child, allowing for greater balance, comfort and freedom of movement.
Norwegian manufacturer Stokke makes the chairs from high-quality, solid European beech or oak wood with an attention to craftsmanship. The Tripp Trapp is a sturdy piece of furniture (it holds up to 300 lbs) that would be very hard for a child to tip, even for toddlers who are climbing in and out of the chair on their own.
This chair comes with a Baby Set to provide support and stability starting around six months. When baby is learning to sit, the Tripp Trapp Baby Set gives little ones comfortable side and back support. It also provides freedom of movement and helps teach them the important skill of sitting. When they can confidently climb in and out of their chair on their own, you can remove the Baby Set. This latest version has an updated safe and intuitive harness buckle, two click-in points and a quick, one-click release button. You can completely remove the harness for easier cleaning (it’s machine wash safe) and attach it back in about 30 seconds.
To use the Tripp Trapp from birth, you can add a Newborn Set (sold separately). No tray is needed if you’re pulling this chair up to your dining table. A cozy cushion is also available.

Incredible purchase that grows with your child
We absolutely love our Tripp Trapp. My Three year old has used this chair since he first could sit up and started eating at the table. This chair had my child involved in the family dinner time at the table with us from the very beginning instead of off to the side eating on his own tray. It makes a difference in how we all interact at the table and we love how the chair grows as he does! It is nice that sometimes even the grownups are able to sit in the chair when needed. We had one for our son and have since bought another for another child

Tripp Trapp Chairs: A Treasured Tradition

Best high chair on the market!
This is the second Stokke highchair we have. They're consistently well built, with no off gassing or odors, and very stable. We like that this chair grows with our kids. Our toddler is very comfortable in hers and the new baby will certainly love his.

Best highchair
I have had this high chair for 4 years for my kids and it is the most adaptable chair I’ve ever seen. It also is very cleanable and hardly looks used, despite the amount of food that’s been spilled on it. I’ve since bought one for multiple friends as a group gift. Highly recommend!

Perfect highchair
This is the second time we have purchased this chair now that we are expecting our second. We have had our first almost 3 years and it looks Just as it did when we first received it. It is very well-made, Adapt as they grow and does not look like a standard highchair. I will always recommend this to my mom friends
