Description
Your UPPAbaby Mesa Infant Car Seat comes with a base, but having an extra base allows you flexibility and ease of travel. You can leave a base in each car and move the lightweight infant car seat between the two.
The Mesa base can be installed using either the auto-retracting LATCH system or the vehicle seat belt with the built-in lock-off (use only one method at a time, not both).
How do you know the base is installed tightly enough? The base should not move more than 1” side-to-side or front-to-back when tested at the belt path. For both a LATCH and seat belt installation, the tightness indicator will turn green when secure.

For our grandparent pickup

Easy to use & high quality
This is so easy to use with the Uppa Baby Mesa, and also is one of the easiest car seat bases. The red/green indicators make it super easy to tell whether your car seat is safe to use or not. I brought our car seat to the local fire station to have help installing in the first time through a car seat technician, and he said this is the best car seat and base he's ever seen. He said it was easy to use as well and really great quality and was going to start recommending it to others moving…
