At what age can this be used?

Like a vacation romance... Good at first. Quick to die.
Reviewing this after owning it 2 years. Received as a shower gift but didn't use it until my baby was about 1 year. (When my baby was an infant, we used the Fridababy digital rectal thermometer and it worked perfectly! it's amazing!) At around 12 months, we started using this Braun forehead thermometer. It's easy and I was confident the readings were accurate, but after a while the temperature range expanded... it would say 101 but a second later it read 98. I don't know if this is normal for…

Works decent for a forehead thermometer however I do question its accuracy. We personal prefer a rectal thermometer in the early months as it’s more accurate for newborns

Temperature range seems to be wide (even slightly moved to the left or right). Baby and I always read high on this thermometer but normal with other thermometers. So not sure which is correct!

The time it takes for a reading is not long but can feel that way when dealing with a squirmy baby. Sleek design, feels good in your hand. Display is easy to read and use is foolproof.

Works quickly and gave me peace of mind for those first few days home from the hospital when regulating temperature is important. My wiggly baby didn't mind one bit having his temperature taken with this. Reach for this before the rectal thermometer.
