Description
This convertible car seat accommodates up to 50 lbs when installed rear-facing and switches to a forward-facing car seat as they grow. The removable infant insert helps to properly position infants 22 lbs and under. Adjust the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest to create the just-right fit.
ClickTight technology provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. Slim outside and spacious inside, this convertible car seat features 17” SpaceSaver technology designed to fit three across without compromising on safety and comfort.
For safety, it includes a patented SafeCell crumple zone and a V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. The ReboundReduce stability bar attaches to the car seat when installed rear-facing, helping to minimize movement in the event of a crash. Carbon steel frame and belt paths also provide strength and stability. The car seat cover fabrics are naturally flame-retardant with no added FR chemicals, and they’re safe to machine wash and dry.

Great seat!
We absolutely love this seat. The install is a breeze, my kids prefer it comfort wise over our old gracos. The extended rear facing limits are fantastic, our 4.5 year old is still comfortably rear facing in hers. Easy to assemble and wash. Very slim side to side and incredibly compact front to back.

Okish if you have a small clearance
While it’s narrow and fits my full sized Acura sedan, the way you have a very narrow clearance to put baby into the car seat because this sits very vertical. There’s no way to safely reposition the car seat so that it reclines a bit more and stay within the tilt guidelines on the car seat. Initially got it to save some back seat space but second guessing how we’re gonna get baby into the seat as he gets bigger. Not as easy to get into adjusting the seatbelt for the baby and moving the straps up…

Can we get a moms input in design PLEASE
Britax. Can I ask WHY the strap pads are connected to the car seat? Why would these not be removable to easy washing? Which leads me to my next point… why are there so many elastic loops in impossible to reach hooks that hold the cushions in place. Car seats have to be washed. Their ease in washing ability is what makes or breaks a car seat for me. I love this car seat but zero stars for its wash ability. Also, the anchors are not click connect, they are the incredibly frustrating squeeze latch…

Not a fan of the straps on this model
We’ve used it for over a year when baby was 5 months to now 19 months and I’ve never been a fan of the straps. There is this hard rubber for no. Slip on the back of the pads that cause an indent on baby. The customer service was not very helpful. They said to just put the straps behind the seat cushion. I’ve done that for the past year and the straps seem to slide off the shoulders if you’re not careful, like they are made just a little too far apart. I don’t feel like my child is very safe in…

Versatile and easy
This car seat is amazing. It’s beautiful, it’s strong, and easy. Installation was a breeze, and I thank britax for putting clear instructions on the seat insert stating under 22lb, you must use it rear facing. My 13 month old is 19lb and I definitely took the insert out before seeing the warning on it! The shoulder pads are amazing as they don’t fall down because they have grippies on them! My daughter was no longer liking the infant seat which is why I got this one and now, she loves sitting in her big girl car seat!

Good experience for 1+ year
Love this car seat. We went from an infant car seat to this one. I still have my daughter rear facing, no issues other than it does limit how Mark we can go back in our small SUV (no issues in our truck) She loves the cup holders. Pretty easy to remove the padding to wash. It is pretty heavy, so something to consider if you're moving the seat into different cars. We do this often unfortunately, but it's at least really easy/quick to install.

Not for kids who get car sick
This is our 8th Britax car seat, so we love the brand, just not this particular seat. Loosening and tightening the harness is more difficult than it should be, the lever to hold while loosening the straps is buried under layers of fabric and the strap to tighten them is against the seat of the car. Our baby gets car sick often and it is a nightmare to clean. The shoulder pads are not removable, so we cannot wash the smell out of them. I do not believe the straps or favorite around the…
