Description
This is an extra car seat base for the Chicco KeyFit 30, one of the most popular infant car seats out there. Of course the car seat comes with a base, but an extra base can be really helpful if you are a two-car family or if your baby will be riding with grandparents or caretakers often. It lets you move your car seat carrier back and forth without having to use the seat-belt-installation method and saves you from shelling out for an entire second car seat. Some families opt to just get two car seats because remembering which car has the carrier can be a hassle.
This an extra base is compatible with KeyFit 30, KeyFit 30 Magic, and KeyFit 30 Zip infant car seats. Just like the base that comes with the seat, it has the SuperCinch tightening mechanism, a spring-assisted level foot, and a bubble level indicator to ensure easy, proper installation.

Manufacturing Date vs. Arrival Date, beware
Would have been 5/5 but what they don’t tell you is that the base is only “safe” for a certain amount of time and they don’t send you a brand new one but one that was manufactured within the last 10 months or something like that, so you end up losing a big chunk of life.
