Overview

Description

The parent-favorite BassiNest has been reimagined as a 2-in-1 system that easily converts from a bedside sleeper to a portable nest for around the house. This keeps you close to your little one during the day and nighttime, too.

It features all of HALO’s signature features: a swivel for the closest sleep, easy lowering wall and mesh walls for breathability and visibility. The BassiNest 3.0 also has a sleek silhouette with an updated base that’s over 30% lighter, but just as sturdy as the original.

The BassiNest comes with a polyester sheet and waterproof mattress (additional cotton sheets sold separately). It’s compatible with all BassiNest accessories, including the Newborn Insert. The sleep space becomes extra breathable when paired with the HALO DreamWeave pad for additional comfort and peace of mind (sold separately).

Warm Grey is a Babylist exclusive color, so you’ll only find it here.

My daughter maybe slept in this for a total of 2 hours and she’s 5 months old.. the mattress is not comfortable at all, the mesh that comes down for ease of access to baby doesn’t go back into place, & the legs are bulky. The only thing I liked about this was that I could detach it and place it on the couch when she outgrew her infant lounger but still she didn’t like it.

Let’s are annoying. I’ve hurt myself multiple times on them. The side that is supposed to come down never goes back up tight enough that the mesh net is left loose. The baby is physically able to swivel the entire thing around with her kicking. I would probably not recommend this

Extremely Uncomfortable
We had this for our son and our first and second night home he cried non-stop in it and was moving around. The "mattress" that it comes with is so thin and it lays on a hard surface. He was so uncomfortable. Night 3 we decided to try out his crib and he slept amazing. We never went back to the bassinet.

Well loved for 3 months!
We loved this bassinet! We are at the tail end if using it and it has been great. I do wish you could lock the swivel, now that we are in more of a kicking stage sometimes she will move the bassinet during the night. It feels VERY sturdy with the wide 4 legs. I do see how it could be a tripping hazard for some but we have never had any issues. The sides are sturdy but also push down for easy grabbing of the baby. I would not purchase this to use in a small space as the base is very wide but I think it adds to the sturdiness of it.

Our baby has not yet
Our baby has not yet arrived so we haven’t had a chance to review it yet, but the set up was very simple. The design is sleek and looks exactly like the pictures. The swivel is smooth and reaches the right height just above our bed which is pretty low. The netting is easy to see through and seems very breathable. We are looking forward to using this product and will update this review if our 5-star rating changes once our baby is here.

Terrible for bigger babies! Ours outgrew it by 8 weeks and it did not feel sturdy enough at all when he would wiggle around in it (and he was only 11lbs!). Also, the base was so wide and we were constantly tripping over the legs in the dark.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!
I HATE !!!!! First, you would think pushing the side down would be easy, but NO! Trying to lift your baby high enough so that you can push down the side is impossible & ive Actually injured my wrists & shoulder trying to gently place my baby down. Also, be careful not to let the same piece fly up while trying to take the baby out & wack them in the head. The legs are a HUGE tripping hazard, i have tripped more times than i can count. And the mesh has completely stretched out & is not creating a gap that is a suffocation hazard. This should be recalled. End rant.

Very disappointed
Honestly we hated this bassinet. The sides never seemed to stay all the way up so the mesh was very loose and floppy and the bassinet would constantly sink. It wouldn’t stay at the height we wanted it. Also the legs of the bassinet extend very far so they are hard to walk around in the dark. We ended up having to put glow in the dark tape on them to stop from bashing our toes

My daughter is 6 weeks
My daughter is 6 weeks old and I have loved the halo swivel sleeper so far! It’s wondering having her so close, I feel like she’s in bed with us. Knowing she’s safe and being able to easily see her through the mesh helps us all sleep better!

Great bassinet and ideal for newborn!
I absolutely love this bassinet so far! Love that it can be adjusted to the same height as my mattress and that I can see my baby through the mesh. The bendable halo is super convenient and I love the size of the bassinet & the swivel feature. The only thing are the legs are very extended and I have tripped a few times already on them after only having for a couple days.
