The Nuna Rava is incredibly user-friendly, especially when it comes to installation. With its Simple Secure belt tensioning plate in the bottom of the seat, you slip the seat belt through, press down and voila! The car seat is tight.
The RAVA also has side impact protection pods that pop out of the side for additional protection.
Another win for the RAVA is the rear-facing weight limit: 50 lbs. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that your child stay rear-facing until at least two years. (After that they have to stay forward-facing in a car seat until they are four before moving to a booster.) With the high weight limit and an extendable two inches of legroom, your child could stay rear-facing until they are over three before you turn the RAVA around for them to face forward.
The RAVA has a number of other nice touches that we expect from luxury car seats. As your child grows, it’s really easy to raise the no rethread harness—and the headrest widens too.
It has ventilation panels and breathable knit fabric for long road trips, and the cover is machine washable, too. And it offers two cup holders that can be tucked away when not in use.

Love it!
We bought a Pipa on clearance from Nordstrom when we were expecting our first little one and loved it! So when the time came to put Bean in a different carseat, we knew we wanted to stick with Nuna. We love that it is flame retardant free and such a comfortable seat. Our little one seems to be very comfortable in the Rava and it's been easy for us to install in different vehicles as needed. Not worth the money
Really wanted to love this. Used the Nuna Pipa and was excited to graduate to this, but it was not good. Installation wasn’t easy, and multiple times despite us following all printed instructions AND videos, the seat would tip backward at a scary sharp angle with the slightest pressure (like when we pushed the passenger seat back and it touched the top of the rear-facing Rava. Turns out it’s very sensitive to the angle of the seat it’s installed onto. THEN when we tried to fix this, the true…

New design ehhh
Haven’t used it yet with infant but the new design updated in 2024 has the retread button in an extremely difficult position vs. if you watch the babylist video that have the older version with a button easily accessible at the end of the car seat. Going to inquire with babylist about the discrepancy of having a video featuring an older model that is different than the new version being sold and how much more difficult it is.

Best Seat We've Used!
We've been using the Rava for almost 3 years now with our oldest, and I'm about to buy another for our second! I absolutely love this car seat, can't say enough good things about it!!
Pros:

Nice seat but maybe not worth the price
We had the Chicco Keyfit 30 infant car seat which was fine, but it was hard to tighten the straps, and having to re-thread the harness was a pain. At my son's 10-month check-up, he was suddenly 30 inches tall, which meant I needed to find a new car seat pronto.

Nuna it’s the right deal
It deserves the 5 stars as it’s very comfortable and my son loves it. Definitely a brand to choose. Worth every penny

THE BEST CAR SEAT!

Best Car seat ever!
We Love the Nuna RAVA Convertible Car seat. It’s easy to install and doesn’t take up a lot of room in your vehicle. My one year old daughter loves it too! She rides comfortably with no complaints. We also own a Maxi cosi 3-in-1, but it’s nothing compared to the Nuna. After extensive research, I wouldn’t recommend any other car seat. It’s pricey but worth every penny for my daughter to ride comfortable and safe.
