absolute must for me
i was really hesitant about purchasing this because of the mixer reviews i had been given. i had some friends say that it wasn’t worth the money & that it would go off at random times for no reason. however, i’ve only ever had a great experience with it & it gives me SO much peace of mind. as a first time mom, i’m filled with a ton of anxiety, especially in the first few weeks. i couldn’t recommend this enough

Perfect anxiety relief!
Little confusing at first like anything but once you get the hang of putting the footie on your little one it’s super simple and easy to use! Easy set up and puts my mind at ease!

Highly Recommend for cold and flu season
My 4 and a half month old currently has a cold and last night it alerted us at 1am that her oxygen was at 80%. We had just cleared her nose and gotten her to sleep a couple hours prior. We woke her and cleared her nose again but I can’t even think about what could’ve happened had it not alerted us. I highly recommend this to any parent!

Save your money... doesn't work well and increases anxiety
This product is supposed to help my anxiety, not cause anxiety. The first one I had would go off every time my days old baby kicked her legs. The message would read "Difficulty getting readings" and tell me to check sock placement. I contacted Owlet and they sent me a replacement, but it took quite some time to process and get it to my house. The new one didn't go off as often, but because the app is so slow to connect to the base, before I did a diaper change, I had to have it open and ready to

False Alarms, Terrible Hardware
I’m writing this review after being awake from 4–6 a.m. with my newborn because the sock alarm kept going off every few minutes due to lost connection and trouble getting readings. This happens many nights. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the software is terrible and the hardware is just as unreliable.

The sock constantly disconnects, struggles to get accurate readings, and triggers false alarms despite repeated troubleshooting, which is shocking for a product meant to monitor a baby’s health.

This is overpriced tech that creates anxiety instead of peace of mind.

Amazing tech but the sock fit is off
Having a child from the NICU who had a lot of spells, I bought this thinking the monitoring would
provide comfort, and that piece of it is amazing - 5 stars in that. However, the 3 star overall rating is because it doesn’t fit correctly. If I leave it loose on the foot, it beeps it’s not tight enough to track stats. If I leave it tighter so it’s not beeping, it’s leaving blisters on the feet. Bummed because I really think this is an amazing piece of technology, but I must return as it’s not worth hurting their foot.

Best purchase I have made since becoming a mom
I started using the dream sock as soon as I came home with my premie that was only 5 pounds. (Yes I am aware that the sock is intended for 6 pounds and above) As a first time mom with severe anxiety, worsened by my baby having breathing problems, this sock helped to ease so much anxiety that I had at night when my husband and I would go to sleep. I have recommended it to so many coworkers of mine as something they definitely need for when their babies arrive!

Forever grateful for owlet.
I found owlet when I was a first time mother, When I found out I was going to have a premie baby I started searching the web for a medical peace of mind.. 23 and young and a had lost a sister to SIDS at 3 months.. We got our first owlet and it was the BEST PURCHASE WE HAD EVER MADE. At only 10 months our son had gotten pneumonia and we had no idea he was struggling so badly but LUCKILY we had our owlet and it let us know our babies oxygen levels were dropping down into the 89-88 percent ranges

Great!
I purchased the dream sock in target 2-3 months ago. As a first time mom I had so much anxiety checking to make sure my baby was breathing while she was sleeping. Ive had that big fear of something happening and me not knowing so I purchased the dream sock and I’m so happy I did. I can finally sleep knowing that if something is happening I’ll know on time. I’m VERY very happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend to first time parents if it’s friends or family or even a stranger! THANK YOU

Thank you!
I know some think the owlet is controversial but I couldn't do without it. After 3 years of IVF our baby was born a bit premature and had a BRUE at 1 month. ( yeah, I didn't know this was a thing either!!!). I ordered it same day at 2 am in the ER, spent another 8 hours at the hospital monitoring. Thankfully we haven't had another incident and right when we stopped using it baby came down with croup. I was glad I could put her back in our room and feel comfortable knowing she was not having
