Overview

Description

Esembly diapers are made up of two products: an absorbent Inner and a waterproof Outer (sold separately). The soft, organic cotton Inner is the part of the diaper that provides the absorbency.

To ensure its effectiveness, Esembly has designed it with a uniquely layered core that maximizes washability and absorbency.

The Inners come in two sizes and are made to grow with baby. The waist snaps allow for adjustments to accommodate expanding bellies, while the rippled core and stretchy elastic at the legs will expand as baby gets taller.

Here’s how it works:

  • Put a fresh Inner on your baby at each change.
  • Cover the Inner with a waterproof Outer to make a complete diaper.
  • Change an awake baby every 2-3 hours, or immediately if poop is detected.
  • To accommodate long nighttime sleep stretches, boost the absorbency of your diaper with an Overnighter (sold separately).
  • When soiled, set aside in the Day Bag or Pail Pouch until laundry day.

If cloth diapering full-time, they recommend having 24 Inners and 6 Outers. Inners require laundering after each use, whereas Outers can be used multiple times before washing.

Launder your Inners and Outers every 2-3 days using Esembly Washing Powder (or similar clean-rinsing detergent) as per the Esembly’s 4-step wash instructions.

Actually perfect!

If you’re on the fence about getting the relaxed elastics inners, I’m here to say to just give it a go! I’ve learned that these actually become a nice “in between” size for when size 1’s get a little snug. Also, it really is the outer shell that keeps things locked in, so don’t be worried if these are a little big.

My favorite cloth diapers
This review was collected as part of a promotion
I started cloth diapering when my baby was 6 weeks old and he’s now 15 weeks. I bought a few different brands to try out cloth and ensemble is by far my favorite. They are exceptional quality and really easy to use. The other diapers I bought have leaked no matter how I adjusted them. If you’re on the fence bc of the price just go for it and stock up on one of their many sales.

I’ve gotta admit, I was worried about the investment. We have previously cloth diapered very unsuccessfully using prefolds. We ended up with wet, unhappy, stinky, and leaky babies. Wasn’t a win for anyone. But a friend lead to me Esembly and I decided to take the leap to buy a few. I’m blown away by the absorbency and ease of these diapers. They require far fewer changes than our others which needed attention quickly after every urination. My husband - who was a self proclaimed hater of cloth

I appreciate the organic cotton for my babies sensitive skin. Now 6 months into cloth diapering and love these diapers. Easy to snap/unsnap, no leaking/blowouts, and most importantly no questionable materials.
