Overview

Description

Esembly diapers are made up of two products: an absorbent Inner and a waterproof Outer (sold separately). The soft, organic cotton Inner is the part of the diaper that provides the absorbency.

To ensure its effectiveness, Esembly has designed it with a uniquely layered core that maximizes washability and absorbency.

The Inners come in two sizes and are made to grow with baby. The waist snaps allow for adjustments to accommodate expanding bellies, while the rippled core and stretchy elastic at the legs will expand as baby gets taller.

Here’s how it works:

  • Put a fresh Inner on your baby at each change.
  • Cover the Inner with a waterproof Outer to make a complete diaper.
  • Change an awake baby every 2-3 hours, or immediately if poop is detected.
  • To accommodate long nighttime sleep stretches, boost the absorbency of your diaper with Ultra-Absorbent Overnight Cloth Diaper Boosters (sold separately)

If cloth diapering full-time, they recommend having 24 Inners and 6 Outers. Inners require laundering after each use, whereas Outers can be used multiple times before washing.

Launder your Inners and Outers every 2-3 days using Esembly Washing Powder (or similar clean-rinsing detergent) as per the Esembly’s 4-step wash instructions.

1 Question
For size 1, does it necessary to have outer layer, let’s say if we’re staying home all day? For my understanding the outer layer is only for like going outside, traveling, or water/pool time. ?

Best Answer:  Yes, the Outer cover is necessary even when staying at home all day. The Esembly system is designed as a two-part system where the Inner provides absorbency but isn't waterproof on its own. The Outer cover is what prevents leaks and blowouts onto clothing and furniture.

Favorite cloth diapers

I enjoy esembly and the system. I’ve tried a couple other cloth diaper brands and I didn’t like them as much. I appreciate the 100% cotton that esembly uses on their inners. 4 stars only because of price, but I under because of higher quality materials.

Put Esembly on your registry :)
I was persuaded to try cloth diapers after finding out we were having twins and learning about the environmental and financial cost of using disposable diapers. Other cloth diapers were messy and difficult to use (for both me and my husband). Our girls were also born premature and the other cloth diapers were really bulky on them. I finally decided to try Esembly after a few stressful weeks with the other kinds. I ordered 27 Inners (just under 2 days worth per baby) and 8 outers to try using
