Can this hook onto a kitchen island with a depth of 10 inches?
Best Answer: The Hook-On Chair should not be used on any surface where a child can push off with their feet - including many kitchen islands. If the child’s feet can reach the base of the island, nearby cabinetry, or stool legs, it could pose a tipping hazard. Always check that the surface is compatible in both thickness (0.8 to 2.95 inches) and stability, and make sure there are no nearby structures the child could use to push off.
What is the weight and age range for use?

Very cute idea! Who wants
Very cute idea! Who wants to go to a restaurant and use a highchair that others have used. I would hope that they are sanitized after every use, but I highly doubt it. This would be very convenient, especially if you are traveling and don't know if the place you are going to for dinner has highchairs. Target was out of the Oatmeal color online and in the store that I shopped at so I thought buying it direct from Lalo would be best. Glad it arrived before the shower.

Great buy
We just got this for our 7 month old for when we travel and go out for a bite to eat. We used it already and it was perfect! He was freely hanging out enjoying our meal very convenient and easy to attach to the table.

So far so good!
We’ve used this a handful of times so far and it’s gone well. It seems sturdy and comfortable for our 21 lb 9 month old.

Nice minus the big gap
Nice minus the big gap between the tray and the seat. Likely to return and get one without a giant gap that sends all babys food onto the floor
