Overview

Description

The 2nd Seat Kit allows you to expand your Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller (sold separately) into a double stroller.

The kit comes with a 2nd stroller seat, as well as a set of adapters to make room for two riders.

If you’re planning to stroll with one of your kids using the bassinet or car seat adapter, you’ll still need the adapters to convert to double mode, and then you can start using the 2nd stroller seat when your child develops head and neck control (typically around six months).

The seat in Mockingbird’s 2nd Seat Kit is identical to the seat included with the Single-to-Double Stroller. This means you can stroll in double mode with two kids up to 45 lbs, and you can choose to have your younger child closer to you.

It also means that the 2nd seat has all the features of the Stroller seat, including the FullShade system, which pairs the XL UPF 50+ canopy with the built-in LegShade for head-to-toe coverage sun coverage.

Other parent-favorite features include the magnetic buckle, height-adjustable canopy, reversible seasonal seat-liner, reflective piping for safer nighttime strolls and more in-seat storage.

Note: To stroll with twin infants, you’ll need the 2nd Seat Kit plus two Car Seat Adapters or two Infant Seat Inserts, as the Single-to-Double Stroller is not compatible with two Bassinets.

Haven’t received order.
I purchased a stroller attachment from Mockingbird on March 19. I received one email saying it was shipped with an attached tracking number. There has been no update on the tracking whereabouts of the package nor has it showed up yet and it has almost been over two months.

Smaller than expected
My toddler loves this seat - wish it would recline more with the infant seat attached. Also not sure how he will continue to fit in it much longer? he is 20 months but is close to maxing out the buckle with a thick coat on.

Disappointing
This stroller is heavy to begin with. Add the 2nd seat kit and it is absolutely unmanageable. You need hulk strength to get this thing in and out of the car. The fact that it doesn’t also come with adapters after you’ve paid for the stroller and then the second seat kit is ridiculous. It doesn’t steer easily once the second seat is added and the handle is way too close to the bucket if you’re using that on top. You barely have room for your fingers to clear it. The only thing I like about this

Love that the canopy finally extends
Able to enjoy the stroller longer. Little one is still within weight requirements but is just taller. The sunshade for legs and extra pockets are a win too! Only thing I wish for the stroller is if there was something similar to the bugaboo donkey where you could extend the double on the side since two kids facing each other isn’t the best when they are bigger due to the top kids feet being so close to the child’s face in the bottom seat.

Absolutely love this set up
I have a 6 month old and a 2 year old. The second seat kit makes life so much easier! I love that it still had enough room for the seats to recline a bit too allowing them both to lay back and not be so upright!

Double the fun
I purchased the Mockingbird 2nd seat kit as a baby shower gift requested by the mothert-to-be. She is so pleased with her Mockingbird stroller that she received for her firstborn, that she wanted to continue using it after her second baby. She was thrilled to know that I purchased it, as she is so happy with the quality, look and functionality of the stroller.

Great NEW updates! Improvements needed!
I was so excited to get the 2nd seat 3.0 design!!! Unfortunately, I already had criticisms before leaving the garage!

I purchased this seat for the sun cover and reversible seat insert for summer and have LOVED those features the most!! HOWEVER, the sun cover is not compatible with the snack tray. The Velcro sides and button don’t have enough give to use with anything other than the bar. At the end of the day it’s fine but I purchased the snack tray and 3.0 seat for my toddler and the

I bought the second seat for when my niece visited and it’s the best investment/decision made. So easy to put together and might be a bit bulky to collapse but so worth it and not dealing with two strollers.

2nd seat
We just took the two seater to Disney and it’s not something I want to do again. It was very frustrating to have to take the seat apart every single flight and ride we took to and from the park. Also the both canopies didn’t hold up.
