Overview

Description

This friendly bee sitting on a cloud “flies” about on the floor, encouraging your new crawler to follow. Three modes of play engage babies at different stages. Pre-crawlers can simply play with the bee rattle, which is weighted so it wobbles but won’t fall over. For early crawlers, place the bee in the motorized cloud and it rolls around in a circular pattern, staying close so your baby can catch up. When your baby takes the bee out, the cloud spins in place until it is returned. Finally, for advanced crawlers, you can set the toy to move in random patterns that encourage them to chase.

A built-in sensor helps the bee avoid walls and other obstacles. Colorful lights, music and buzzing sounds stimulate your baby’s senses and interest. It also turns off after five minutes to preserve battery life.

The Follow-Bee works best on hard floors, mats or very low-pile rugs—it won’t roll as well on carpets with more texture.

What we  about it

This mechanized rolling bee zooms about happily, enticing babies to crawl and follow.

The Best "In Between Toy
This is by far one of my favorite Skip Hop products. It's super engaging and gets kids interested in wanting to follow it around from the crawling/belly rolling stage to the grabbing onto/almost walking stage! It's a great investment

Very stimulating in multiple ways!
This toy is the greatest! My Grandson is getting ready to creep and is fascinated by it. He got excited just seeing it in the box and was then mesmerized once it moved around. He was stimulated to grab the bee! And grab for the ribbons. Love it!

Baby is scared of light
I purchased this when baby started crawling, but she got so much scared of the loud music and the changing lights. But my bunny likes to play with it. Baby is one year now and still scared of it.
Also get stuck in every corner and doesn't work on carpets.

Unsafe for children with hair
This item is cute for babies, but my 5 year old daughter was helping her little sister crawl and the wheels of this toy caught a chunk of her hair and pulled it right out of her head.

Three for three, not one worked
I am returning my third follow bee to where I purchased it. Each of them played a few notes and sounded like a malfunctioning computer. The toy never attempted to move, I was very disappointed. I will not get a fourth one.

Baby loves the bee
This review was collected as part of a promotion
My baby loves the bee so much. He will dance to the music, the lights are super fun, and plus the music doesn’t have lyrics or are nursery rhymes so they don’t get stuck in your head for hours. I love the different patterns the Bee can use and that the cloud doesn’t go far when the bee is removed. I have noticed the bee’s circle will still move pretty far after avoiding hitting the baby or other toys.
