Video Review: Two Smart Ways to Tackle Pumping and Bottle Cleanup
Video Review: Two Smart Ways to Tackle Pumping and Bottle Cleanup

One thing that surprises a lot of pumping parents: pumping rarely happens during some peaceful, dedicated moment. It happens between making breakfast, while you're loading the dishwasher, or while you're searching the couch cushions for someone's missing shoe. And if you don’t have a wearable breast pump, that means you’re tethered to one spot hooked up to an outlet and cords.

And then when you're done pumping? You're cleaning bottles. Again.

It's a routine that can take up more of your day than you expect. eufy designed both the S2 Pro wearable breast pump and the S1 Pro bottle washer with that reality in mind. In the video above, we asked a Babylist parent to see how both fit into a real morning. Here's what stood out.

1. Built-in heat to help support letdown

The eufy S2 Pro is a fully wearable pump, which means it sits inside your bra and goes wherever you go. One thing that makes it different is the built-in HeatFlow technology.

You may have heard of pumping parents using warm compresses, heating pads or even taking a warm shower before pumping. That's because warmth may help encourage letdown—the hormonal process that releases milk from the breast—and can make pumping feel more comfortable and productive for some people.

Here, that warmth is built right into the pump, with seven heat levels you can adjust to find what feels right for you.

2. A built-in massage while you pump

There's adjustable vibration, too, which creates a gentle massage for your whole breast.  You can customize the intensity levels, vibration patterns and length of time, and the settings are adjustable either directly on the pump via the buttons or through the app. The biggest takeaway? What makes this different from many wearable pumps is that it combines heat and massage-like vibration together in one device, instead of relying on separate tools or techniques. You can see how it works at 0:26 in our video here.

3. Ready for real-life pumping—including the middle of the night

A double-sealed flange means the pump stays secure even when you bend, reach or move around. And if your collection cup fills up, the app sends a notification and automatically stops the pump, so you don't have to worry about overflowing or leaking.

For late-night sessions, there's a backlit nipple tunnel so you can line everything up in the dark without waking the whole house. The charging case holds both motors, has a built-in pump mat to keep the collection cups dry and holds up to seven days of battery life between charges—so you're not digging for a cord when you need it.

4. The bottle washer covers the cleanup

After a pump session comes the part nobody loves: cleaning. The eufy S1 Pro bottle washer holds up to 10 bottles at once—or an entire pump kit plus four bottles—so you're running far fewer loads throughout the day.

A built-in water softener helps prevent cloudy spots and limescale buildup, and the rack has dedicated spots for small parts too: pacifiers, anti-colic vents, lids, collars and nipples all fit in the same run.

5. It washes, sterilizes and dries

After washing, the S1 Pro steam sterilizes, killing 99.9% of germs. Then it dries everything, so bottles come out ready to use. That means no hand-drying, wiping, or holding extra counter space hostage for hours while you wait for parts to dry.

A wash cycle takes about 90 minutes, and you can start it remotely through the eufy app. There's even a night schedule setting to run it during off-peak hours and help reduce energy costs.

How do you fill it, drain water and add soap? There’s a water tank you take off the side to fill up with clean water before you start the wash cycle, and a low-profile hose with suction cups sticks to the inside of your kitchen sink for easy drainage of the water. The bottle washer comes with 60 detergent tabs—you use one per wash cycle, and when you need more, they can be ordered directly from eufy or on Amazon

Who's this setup good for?

If you're breastfeeding or pumping and spending more time than you'd like managing sessions and cleaning up after them, this combination is worth a look. The S2 Pro fits pumping into moments that already exist in your day. The S1 Pro takes bottle and pump-part cleanup off your to-do list. And when you're keeping a baby fed and happy multiple times a day, anything that makes your day easier is a win in our book.
