Astre Assembled Nightstand by Nate Berkus

The babyletto Astre Assembled Nightstand by Nate Berkus is a compact nightstand designed to sit beside a nursery recliner or a big-kid bed, offering a drawer and an open cubby for flexible, accessible storage. The design reflects Nate Berkus’s signature mix of classic and playful—antique bronze diamond hardware lends a refined, period-inspired detail, while a hand-drawn patterned lining sits hidden inside the drawer as a considered finishing touch.

Ball feet ground the piece with a classic silhouette, thoughtfully reimagined to bring quiet sophistication and a hint of whimsy to the overall look. The open cubby is sized to pair with Nate Berkus-designed fabric storage baskets, keeping frequently reached-for items within easy reach. Baskets are sold separately.

Crafted from red oak veneer and sustainably sourced American Poplar, the nightstand is finished through a multi-step, non-toxic painting and staining process that is lead-safe and phthalate-safe, exceeding ASTM International and U.S. CPSC safety standards.

Greenguard Gold certified, the Astre Nightstand has been tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs to meet rigorous chemical emissions requirements. Construction exceeds CPSC’s ASTM F2057-23 tip-over standard, and an anti-tip kit is included. The nightstand arrives nearly assembled—attach the feet and it’s ready. It coordinates with the full Astre Collection by Nate Berkus, including the crib, armoire, dresser, bookcase, and ottoman.
