  • All bottles have Slow Flow nipples
  • BPA-free
  • Dishwasher safe (top rack)
  • Babylist exclusive

Description

Every baby is different — some take to any bottle, others are picky about nipple shape and flow.

Bottle Boxes let you try top-rated bottles in glass, plastic, silicone, or a mix before committing to a full set of one. Glass holds up over years of use and won’t retain odors or stains; plastic and silicone are lighter, more flexible, and easier to bring along. All nipples are Slow Flow, though flow will vary slightly by brand.

If baby is exclusively breastfeeding, we recommend waiting until nursing is established (around 3–4 weeks) before introducing a bottle. Once you find the one your baby loves, Babylist carries multi-packs so you can stock up.

What we  about it

A giftable box of popular baby bottles that lets new parents try out different brands and materials to see which works best for them—before buying a whole set.

Good Tester
This is a great tester for bottles. My baby didn’t have any preferences but I did. The Bibs bottle is latex so beware if you have a latex allergy, I did not use this bottle. The Dr Browns bottle has a lot of parts and cleaning is tedious so we did not use this bottle either. I’m still a little nervous every time I use the glass bottles because of breaking but I’m extremely careful and don’t use bottles much due to breastfeeding.

So glad I put this on my registry!
I just received my Glass Bottle Box, and I couldn’t be happier with it! As a first-time parent and a pediatric therapist, I know how challenging it can be for families to find a bottle that their baby will actually like and take. Every baby is different, so I love that this box gives us the opportunity to try several options without committing to an entire set of one brand.

I plan to breastfeed, but I also want my husband to be able to participate in feedings while I pump to help maintain

Love this variety bottle box! I heard that baby's are picky and don't all like the same things, so I knew I wanted a variety of bottles to try out to determine which one my little guy would like the most.

Seemed like a good idea, but isn't
I thought this would be great for my registry, and it's very prettily packaged. However, in practice, I actually found it was annoying -- just like having multiple brands of Tupperware where none of them quite fit each other! My baby wasn't even picky, we didn't need the gimmicky ones in here.

New parents: unless you *know* you have an unusually picky baby who is rejecting typical bottles, just choose one type of bottle that you like fine. If you're pumping, choose one that works with

Pay Attention to the Nipple!
TLDR: First time breastfeeding mamas, the most important thing about your bottle is the nipples flow rate! And when in doubt, go ahead and call the lactation consultant!

As a first time mom planning to breastfeed, I added this sampler box to my registry thinking it would give me a variety of bottles to try when we were ready to introduce them once my baby was a few weeks old. When breastfeeding did not go well and we needed bottles to feed my newborn baby pumped breastmilk, the nipples
