Description
BEABA’s line of easy-to-use countertop baby food makers steam, blend, defrost and reheat your homemade baby food. The easy-to-use Babycook has a 4.5 cup capacity, and with one-handed operation, you can even make food while holding your little one.
To make food, you first quickly steam cook fruits, veggies, or meats (this takes 20 minutes or less) to preserve nutrients and flavor. You then puree the food—you can make it super smooth, chunky, or leave it solid, as you like. By saving the condensed water after steaming, you can add nutrients back into the food when you puree it. The included booklet has lots of useful info, like how much water you need when cooking certain foods.
Parents love the ease of this machine and its compact footprint. It operates quietly and purees more smoothly than a food processor. Unlike a food process, all the parts are contained in the unit, so you don’t need extra storage. Cleanup is fast, as there are not a lot of parts to wash, and the bowl and basket are top-rack dishwasher safe.

Unavoidable mold
I was originally weary about using a plastic steamer, but found it convenient for making purées. After just 3 uses the water chamber became moldy (although I followed all the cooking and cleaning instructions). Beaba’s customer service was completely unhelpful, unapologetic and is not honoring the warranty (which it is still very much under).

Very bad! waste of money!
Horrible design, unhealthy! not sanitary food reaches inside the parts and get stuck in between corners that cannot be cleaned and gets molded. Very cheaply made from low quality and thin plastic. and worst of all, super expensive to what it is! it is a 50 dollar product not 160!

I absolutely love how easy this is to use! As a first time mom it’s so convenient to be able to steam and blend foods without dirtying too many dishes.

Easy and doesn’t steal the entire counter space!
I love that the solo doesn’t take up too much counter space! It’s easy to use and clean! I love knowing our baby is getting clean ingredients, and the beaba makes it so easy for me to prep her food!

Bad design not healthy
Horrible design! The food leaches into the corners that can’t be cleaned and after 2 times I can see mold in every corner!

The best and easiest machine to use
this is the best machine for making baby food! it is so easy to use and the process is so fast. i enjoy using it every sunday to meal prep for the week for my little one.
