What needs to be assembled?

Don’t recommend
We haven’t even been able to build it yet because there’s been 2 incorrect pieces in the order (one was a missing siderail piece, the other the holes were drilled on the wrong side.) Davinci is sending replacement pieces which is nice but very disappointing overall.

Nice dresser, unfortunate build.
If you purchase this, it is ESSENTIAL that you also purchase an a Allen wrench ratchet that is compatible as it is impossible to build with the Allen wrench provided. I ordered 2 of these dressers and both broke in different places (hardware detached from wood). I was able to fix this with wood glue, but it was pretty frustrating. Other than that, the dresser is beautiful and works well.

Charlie Dresser - great purchase!
Beautiful dresser. We love the dark green color, and it’s sturdy build. Other reviewers mentioned it was difficult to put together…it is if you try to use the provided Allen wrench, but if you use a ratchet driver it was very easy. Drawers are solid, love that the drawer slides are pre assembled. Would have given 5 stars but 3 of the handles were bent.

Horrible design, impossible to assemble
Horribly designed dresser. Nearly impossible to assemble with the hex key provided and the metal sockets they drive into are not at all secured or glued so it all comes apart very easily. Looks pretty but might as well be a pile of firewood.

Looks great but smells
I love how the dresser looks and how functional it is especially with the changing trey. However there’s a strong chemical smell that emanates from the dresser. 3 months later after wiping it down numerous times, having a fan blowing at it, the smell is slowly dissipating. If you don’t have the time to let it aerate, I’d skip this.

Getting another one for baby #2!
I love the look of this of this dresser- so classy, elegant, and clean looking. It's not too big where it takes over the whole room but its big enough to hold all I need without getting overwhelming. My husband had no problem putting this together. I initially did not like the fact that the drawers do not come out all the way but now what my boy is a little bigger I am incredibly grateful for this safety feature. Once we are done with these they will go beautifully in our spare guest room.

Nice but difficult to build.
Dresser is nice, although difficult to build. Whoever designed this dresser should try again. It’s almost painful with the little Allen wrench they give to put it together. Also instructions are not real clear.
