This travel system includes the GoMax Infant Car Seat and GoMax Compact Stroller Frame (no stroller seat).
GoMax Infant Car Seat
This infant car seat installs safely in seconds using the Insta-Install Rigid LATCH. Indicators turn from red to green, letting you know it’s installed correctly.
Featuring Graco Protect Plus Engineered, this seat helps to protect rear-facing infants from 4-30 lbs and up to 32” with a combination of the most rigorous crash tests that help to protect your little one in frontal, side, rear and rollover crashes.
The GoMax Infant Car Seat also features PureProtect Fabrics are soft and fire-resistant without added chemicals.
The seat’s memory recline on the LATCH connectors remembers the the last install recline position for even faster install the next time you use it.
No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, the headrest and harness can be adjusted together while your child is in the seat. The Silent Shade canopy and privacy drape adjust quietly without disturbing baby, and a one-hand adjustable handle makes getting baby in and out easier.
GoMax Compact Stroller Frame
This lightweight frame weighs just 9 lbs, and features a one-hand, ultra-compact fold that easily stores anywhere. It’s also overhead friendly (confirm with airline’s carry-on requirements prior to departure).
A height-adjustable handlebar and front-wheel suspension help provide a comfy ride. The large, easy-access storage basket also has plenty of room for essentials.

Is this car seat FAA approved ?
Best Answer: Yes. The infant car seat included with the Graco GoMax Travel System is certified for use on aircraft when installed without the base. The stroller itself is not FAA-approved for aircraft use, but it folds compactly enough to fit in many overhead bins (subject to your airline's carry-on size limits).

I could not have gotten through newborn stage without this!!!!!! Especially with my 99th percentile baby, I would have never been able to lift her in and out of the car if the wheels were attached, so it’s so easy and great to be able to quickly pop her in. The wheels are so compact I put them behind my driver seat behind her infant car seat, so I don’t have to even deal with going to trunk. 1000/10. I actually stop people who are pregnant on the street to tell them about this product

I bought this and do enjoy using it because it’s very light weight and easy to use, but if I could send it back I would since when my baby outgrows her car seat I’ll have to get something else and there aren’t any other options with this system. Just spend the extra $100 and one that will last your baby longer.

Good seat but not really baseless for popular cars

We really like this travel system but as it is right now it’s not truly baseless. I have a Honda pilot and my husband has an f150. There was no way for the seat to be at the proper angle in my pilot without the base. Same with my mother in laws Subaru. We even had a cpst check the install. Other than that, it’s super convenient and easy to use.

Perfect for travel and every day!
Obsessed with this car seat/travel system! The low profile stroller frame is perfect for quick errands, restaurants, and appointments. We flew with this system (did not bring the base with us) and it was the perfect setup. The padded bag for the stroller frame was great for gate-checking, and the car seat was so easy to install with the latch anchors while on our trip. We do NOT use this as our main stroller, but it is perfect for quick trips and travel and the car seat itself is light and easy to install either baseless or with the base.

I bought this back in August of 2025 before my baby was born, and was able to use this until he turned 6 months old. Very easy to carry. Occasionally the locking latches wouldn’t close, and we’d have to click the button again but nothing crazy. The stroller part of it would lock up too here and there recently but I believe it’s because it’s so cold and rainy where we live and we used the stroller a lot.
