Overview
Description
The Sesame lx folds down instantly with a one-handed pull so you can pack up in seconds. Just give the center strap a quick tug, and the playard folds itself into a streamlined package that’s easy to pack.
Setting up the playard is also simple—just unfold and push down on the hub and you’re ready to go.
The detachable changer is a safe and easy spot for a diaper refresh, and it folds up and slips into the carry bag along with the playard and bassinet. This allows you to tote and store everything you need in one package.
Sesame lx comes with a full-size zip-on bassinet (with a firm, flat surface) to keep newborns within sight and easy reach. When baby has outgrown the bassinet, simply zip it off and tuck it away.
Mesh side panels provide peace-of-mind for parents with all-around visibility and ventilation.
The easy zippered side door gives you access to baby so you can gently position or soothe them without reaching down over the sides.
When they reach toddler age, the door lets them crawl in and out on their own to play, and locks securely so they can’t let themselves out when you don’t want them to.

Are all the fabric parts machine washable?
Best Answer: The playard fabric is not removable. The fabric and mattress can be spot cleaned with a sponge and
soapy water.
Do you need to buy sheets for this?
Best Answer: You don’t need to buy sheets for the Joie Sesame LX Playard.
What is the fabric of the base of the changing area? Is it fabric or plastic/able to wipe down? Do you recommend getting a changing pad if its fabric?

What size is the base of the pack and play? I am wanting to purchase a waterproof cover and fitted sheets that fit this if possible?

Color is super off from photos
The playard is really easy to set up and seems to be great quality. The only shocking thing - it is gray. I ordered the dove color as it looks like a soft neutral beige in the photos but in reality it is sad, millennial gray. If you don’t care about the color, this is great. But if you are going to have this in a main room in your house and are not wanting gray, I would skip this one

Solid and Aesthetic and Functional!

I've been using the playard for a couple months now and it's our favorite. My baby sleeps in it every night in our closet. The changing station is actually incredibly useful and a quick setup. My baby also loves it when I leave the play window open and he can crawl in and out of it. It's a super sturdy set up. I have the Graco playpen as well and this one is much sturdier and just all around cuter and more aesthetic. I wish it had wheels on one side but overall it's a solid and reliable bed/play pen.

This play yard is great for a quick crib setup on the go and at home. We typically take it over to the grandparents house so that it’s an easy set up and tear down crib! I love how compact it is and how it doubles as a bassinet and pack and play.

This sesame LX Play yard has been a game changer for me as a mom of two, almost three. Not only is it amazing to have a one hand fold but to have the ability for baby to lay higher with the zip bassinet while being postpartum is amazing. We travel full time so to have a bassinet, play yard AND changing table in ONE product makes our on the go life style so much easier. We’ve been using the Joie Sesame LX Playard for over a month now, and we’ve been incredibly impressed. It takes just a few minutes to set up, and the build quality is excellent (sturdy, secure, and clearly well‑made). I especially appreciate that it comes with a full‑size bassinet and a changing station. My daughter is 4 months old, and it’s been perfect for her, but it’s also designed in a way that makes it ideal for newborns and will continue to work well as she grows.

Awesome Pack n Play and Changing Table

I LOVE this pack n play! The adjustable height is super convenient, as my son is not able to crawl yet and the shallow option of the playard makes it much easier to get him in and out. We keep the playard in our camper van, and being able to use it as a changing table on the go is a Godsend! Very easy to set up and take down, and the materials are high quality. I highly recommend.

This is a great pack n play! It’s super easy to set up. It feels very durable and sturdy. I like that the bassinet feature is the full mattress size, it’s been a great “in between” bed for our baby between bassinet and crib! I do wish the bassinet feature had a little more support under the mattress, it does have a little bow, but she’s almost outgrown the weight. Really like the changing pad, and that it’s detachable and that it folds for storage. Very excited to use this as a playard for all the kids as she gets older! This is a great addition to our kids accessories!

This playard/bassinet/changing station is so convenient! We originally just wanted another compact station to be able to change our baby or lay him to rest on the level of our home where the nursery he’s got his (and his primary bassinet and changing table)…we didn’t realize when we got our sesame playard that we got even more than that! Easy set up!!

I have tried other pack n play/playards and this one is by far the best! It is so sleek and still a great size that’s not too obnoxious in our room. But the best part is that it is the easiest one to set up! The bassinet portion just zips on and the changer just clicks on - definitely no frustration involved!
