Nuna’s Sena Aire travel crib/playard does what the name implies, providing excellent airflow to help your little one sleep safely and soundly. The design allows airflow from every angle. The sides, floor, and even the mattress are made of mesh, so there’s circulation from below as well. The ventilated mattress pulls away heat and humidity, and it zips off for machine washing. In fact, the entire crib covering can be machine washed.

The playard frame is a cinch to open and close (some parents think it’s the easiest to manage of any portable crib on the market). This playard includes an organic sheet, so except for that initial wash, it’s ready to go out of the box. (Most playards do not include a sheet, and that’s a nice extra.) The sleek design of the Sena Aire doesn’t hurt, either. It’s on the pricier side, but if you’ll be using a portable crib frequently, the Nuna Sena Aire may be worth the investment.
