Description
Designed in collaboration with experts in Montessori education, the Discoverosity Play Gym offers a balance of calming simplicity and an engaging sensory environment.
It helps nurture baby’s natural curiosity and development, from vision and concentration to fine motor skills and more. The three stages include tummy time, overhead play and seated play.
Crafted with sustainably-sourced wooden arches and a plush sensory playmat, the five nature-inspired developmental toys include contrasting patterns, crinkle sounds, a baby mirror and more to encourage self-directed activity and exploration. Six parent cards guide you through the gym’s milestone-driven play so you and baby can discover, learn and grow together.

First off, I LOVE how big it is! Super easy to put together and very sturdy. I love the different textures and crinkle patterns. It also comes with an exploration mirror for tummy time. My 1yo is already obsessed and I’m excited to use it with my baby that’s due at the end of the month!

The perfect baby shower gift!

I am always looking for Montessori-inspired toys for my little one and this play gym is perfect! It was very easy to assemble and I love that it is neutral colors. My baby’s favorite part is of course the mirror. She loves to look at herself! This would make a perfect baby shower gift! I highly recommend! I only marked it down to 4 stars because it smells unpleasant, but nothing a little wash won’t fix.

I love this play gym! I’ve had a few different ones throughout the years and this one stands out with its aesthetic design. Fairly easy to put together and fold up small when you need to put it away. Since the top is screwed into place it does have to stay up for you to use it. It comes with lots of different parts that grow with your child. I love the little mirror and the fact that you can put cards in for your child to look at. It also come with cards to guide your through each toy and age…

Love the softness and neutral colors

I love my new skip hop Montessori inspired play floor gym. The colors are neutral with primary color accents, making it perfect for any boy or girl. It’s lightweight and easy to transport here and there. My little one absolutely loves looking at herself

Great play gym mat for my little one. It’s easy to set up and stable. This has been essential for tummy time and play time. The cushions help my kiddo with longer tummy time. They love using the mirror!

Beautiful and well-made play gym

This is a high quality and cute play gym. We had a different brand for our first baby and unfortunately she would kick the arches down and although they were soft, they would fall on her. With this Skip Hop play gym, this issue won’t happen since the arches are wood and held together with screws. This took about 10 minutes to put together with easy to understand instructions. It also comes with a mirror and cards that explain how each part helps with development including the appropriate age ranges.

An okay budget alternative

This is a budget alternative to the more expensive play gym that is very popular these days. My baby did enjoy laying on it and looking at the dangling toys. For this item though, I think it’s best used as a playtime / tummy time mat and you’ll have to bring more toys or things onto it to engage your baby, as there aren’t as many features built into the sides of the mat.
