Q&A
Best Answer: It's a good idea to wash the bottles with soap and water before sterilizing. This helps get rid of any milk residue and bacteria, making sure the sterilization works best.
Best Answer: This won't fit the 8oz Dr. Brown's baby bottles measuring 8" H since the sterilizer is only 7" tall.
Best Answer: You can use this sterilizer for glass bottles.
Best Answer: Aside from distilled water, you can also use bottled water or fresh running water without
additives.
Best Answer: You'll want to microwave this for 2 to 6 minutes, depending on wattage.
Best Answer: That'll totally depend on your microwave power! If you microwave at 500 to 800W, then you'll want to sterilize for 6 minutes. If it's at 1,100 to 1,800W, then you'll sterilize for 2 minutes. You'd want to add approximately 7 fl oz of water to the sterilizer dish, regardless of microwave setting.
Customer reviews
The design makes microwave use convenient and cleans up nicely. I can keep it stored in my dish strainer for quick usage. Never had one with my other kids and hated having to boil the bottles constantly, this saves time and energy!
The packaging was minimal and not a lot of parts, which was great. The instructions were wicked simple and easy to understand.
I didn’t like how tall it was, it is just one extra step of needing to take the microwave shelf out every time to use this
That said, it doesn’t fit larger bottles as well as I’d hoped. For newborns and babies who and eating less than the 8oz bottles it’s great! I don’t think I’ll be able to use it too much longer as my baby is now…
Some Pros are:
Easy to assemble & instructions are easy to follow.
2 clasps on the side to close was convenient.
Cons: I don't like it states it can accommodate bottles up to 9 oz, but it wouldn't allow me to close the lid even when I put them in the middle.
The lid makes it cumbersome for storing.
The wait time for the to cool was average I guess, since I would have to wait for them to cool if I were to boil them.
