I bought it in December ( in Italy)
I used it a lot, also good option to sleep while traveling…but I would suggest to make it a bit longer and wider cause my friends kid couldn’t fit after 3 months…. But for sure I think the bassinet is the only option for a new born, I would have never used the stroller right away

Description
This UPPAbaby Bassinet features a foam-free air mesh mattress for breathability, creating a safe overnight sleep solution. If only was slightly bigger

Didn’t think I would use as much as we have
I did not think we would use this. But we are at 10 weeks and it’s probably our most used baby item. Great for walks in the Florida heat with excellent ventilation. We also use it as a bedside bassinet at night. My only concern is that we have a long baby and she’s already 24 inches so we will be outgrowing this soon.

The only time I wasn't nap trapped as a new mom
This was so helpful so walks when my daughter was a newborn. We used this as a basinet for naps when I was visiting friends or at my parents house. Incredibly helpful and my daughter loved going for walks and falling asleep which was huge as a FTM.

Best bassinet we’ve tried!
We have three bassinets and my son sleeps the best in his UppaBaby! Whether on the stroller or at home, he sleeps soundly and for longer here than our bedside bassinet or the pack n play bassinet attachment. We think he likes how it keeps him warm and insulates from some noise. Debated purchasing since can only use for a few months, however we use it daily and it has made walks and sleep that much better.

Not at all like the color on the photos. Please be aware it is not near brown at all, more of greyish purple tone.

A newborn must have!
Love this attachment! Bassinet is easy to attach to the vista v3 and offers a great option for walks with a newborn. It's been cozy enough for New England winter walks! Looking forward to using with vents open this spring/summer. Definitely recommend adding to your vista v3.
It can be a bit heavy for moms recovering from c-section! Given it doesn't fold beyond the sun shade, it can be tough to travel with.

Beautiful but issues with mattress and it contains polyureth
The mattress is wider than the bassinet or the mattress cover so it's Pringles shaped. The description also misleadingly states foam-free the mattress label clearly states it is indeed foam. Other components of the bassinet (the side panels and the cover) also contain polyurethane foam.
At this price point I'd expect it be polyurethane-free and for the mattress to fit flat and firm as required by safety standards.
