Overview

Description

Parents love that this reassuring animal friend is made of natural rubber, so you can give it to your baby without worrying about what’s in it. Soft Sophie squeaks when you squeeze her, and the neck and legs are slender enough for babies to grab and hold. Contrasting spots and a smiling face provide visual stimulation.

Babies can mouth any part of this toy, though the ears, horns, and feet are made with thicker rubber for extra gnaw-ability. Hand-painted with food paint, each giraffe is unique. The down side of the safe paint is that it may fade over time.

Usable fragile toy at a high price
My baby absolutely loved it for it's shape and the subtle noise it makes. It helped her developing the necessary motor skills. Also, she loved chewing from all angles.

However, this seems to be an extremely delicate toy. And merely after 3-4 months of usage, we saw a crack and the tow was not usable any longer. Keeping aside all the good parts, the high price cannot be justifed considering its short life span.

Very dangerous!
One of the legs got caught in my sons throat and he was choking! Threw it out immediately!

Coloring washed right off!
I just went to clean this for the first time as our baby is now old enough for it and the spots washed right off. The coloring on the feet too. This is just with water and a mild soap!

Paint Wiping Off
The paint on the head of the giraffe is wiping off with a damp cloth… making me think I was sent a fake.

I will not be giving my son this toy.

Sophie is too cute and my baby looks absolutely adorable chomping on her. She smells great, and I like that I don’t have to worry about my baby putting synthetic materials in her mouth since Sophie is 100% natural. Be careful how you clean the toy, if you get water in the hole you can contribute to the growth of mold.

Classic toy and for good reason. Soft, easy to grab even when they are just learning to, nice squeak sound that isn't too loud, and it smells good.

Sophie is oh so cute, and my baby adores her. Her face lights up every time she sees the teether. Sophie is extremely easy for my daughter to grasp onto, and she loves to chew on her horns. If you’re not careful with how you clean Sophie, you can get an excess of black mold growth inside of the toy.
