What weabout it
Combining a pacifier with a plush toy makes it easier for baby to hold and for you to find.

The WubbaNub was invented by a desperate mom who was tired of her baby getting fussy (aka screaming his head off) when he lost his pacifier. She grabbed a plush toy and sewed it to a pacifier. The idea made so much sense, it became wildly successful, and now WubbaNubs are distributed in hospitals and NICUs nationwide. They all come with Soothie pacifiers attached in one-piece construction.

Baby hands are clumsy, so it’s so much easier for them to hold onto a cuddly stuffed toy than a tiny pacifier. If you’re tired of the pacifier falling out after a half second, this will fix that problem. And it’s not just easier for the baby. It’s easier for the grown-ups too. If the pacifier is attached to a toy, it’s easy to find and grab in the bottom of your purse, the floor of the car, or your bedside table at night. And it’s so cute!

So now you’ve met your new best friend Wubs, which one are you going to take home? Tip: The giraffe has the longest body, so it’s the easiest to hold. They’re all great really though. Your baby will not only be soothed by the pacifier itself, but also by the sweet little hug they will be getting from their new stuffed friend.

Also, this toy is such a parent favorite, it was voted a spot on our Best Baby Toys guide.

When I first had my baby, the WubbaNub (we lovingly referred to it as Bennie the Bull) helped keep her passie in her mouth at night. She outgrew it once she started moving her head around more, but in those first tiring and crucial weeks, this pacifier was a lifesaver!

The only problematic thing about the wubbanub is that it’s difficult to clean. The pacifier doesn’t come out of the stuffed animal. In order to sterilize it, I couldn’t just drop it in a boiling pot of water. I had to carefully hold the passie part of it in the water (HOT!).

It's easy for baby to grab and put back in their mouth! We now have two of them :)

Look at it, it's adorable. Our son likes both the pacifier and playing with the giraffe...and now that he's teething he puts both parts in his mouth. You can't really give it to a newborn because of the weight of the giraffe, but once the baby is a little bigger it's a real treat.

Unfortunately our son couldn’t keep this pacifier in his mouth. We received 2 different ones that were adorable but sadly, he just couldn’t keep them in his mouth. So, we cut off the stuffed animal part to use as a toy. All babies are different, and even if something is highly recommended doesn’t mean it will work for your baby. I suggest getting one and if it doesn’t work out then cut off the stuffed animal part for a toy.

Perfect paci and playmate. Great for newborns and older babies who like to chew or snuggle the toy! Also way easier to find since it is larger. ❤

My baby enjoys it so much. It calms her and it is her favorite pacifier.

Easy for my baby to hold even when she was small (she would wrap her arms around it) and now it's like an extra toy! You can toss the whole thing in the washing machine for a good clean!

This was perfect for our little guy when he was too small to hold anything or was swaddled and wanted a pacifier. The cute elephant kept the pacifier balanced in his mouth until he fell asleep so we didn't have to keep picking it up or holding it there.
