What weabout it
Combining a pacifier with a plush toy makes it easier for baby to hold and for you to find.

The WubbaNub was invented by a desperate mom who was tired of her baby getting fussy (aka screaming his head off) when he lost his pacifier. She grabbed a plush toy and sewed it to a pacifier. The idea made so much sense, it became wildly successful, and now WubbaNubs are distributed in hospitals and NICUs nationwide. They all come with Soothie pacifiers attached in one-piece construction.

Baby hands are clumsy, so it’s so much easier for them to hold onto a cuddly stuffed toy than a tiny pacifier. If you’re tired of the pacifier falling out after a half second, this will fix that problem. And it’s not just easier for the baby. It’s easier for the grown-ups too. If the pacifier is attached to a toy, it’s easy to find and grab in the bottom of your purse, the floor of the car, or your bedside table at night. And it’s so cute!

So now you’ve met your new best friend Wubs, which one are you going to take home? Tip: The giraffe has the longest body, so it’s the easiest to hold. They’re all great really though. Your baby will not only be soothed by the pacifier itself, but also by the sweet little hug they will be getting from their new stuffed friend.

Also, this toy is such a parent favorite, it was voted a spot on our Best Baby Toys guide.

It’s kind of a two for one deal. When they grow out of the pacifier you can cut it off and they still have a stuffed animal. My son loved the pacifier, but has kind of phased into just dragging the animal around. So it has been nice for him to be able to have a toy and pacifier in one for whatever he is feeling like at the moment.

It’s very cute, my daughter likes to play with it now that’s she’s older and chew on the pacifier part, but she never liked that type of pacifier. The elephant is super soft and it’s all good quality, just wasn’t my daughter’s preference. Seems like a good product.

Not using it enough to know.

It was too heavy (the tot hanging off of it) for my baby to keep in his mouth. I know some people swear by them. My baby wasn’t picky about bottles, but he could never get the hang of this pacifier. I think parents like that the toy helps keep them from losing the paci, but I can’t highly recommend it. It is cute for a gift but didn’t work for us. I wouldn’t spend the money if I had to buy one, but if you want to try it, add it to your registry!

The Soothies pacifiers are the only ones my daughter would take. We started with just the pacifiers by themselves, and once she was starting to grab (3 months) we gave her the Wubbanub. She loved being able to grab it and put the pacifier in by herself. We have bought several more since! Look on YouTube for cleaning videos. Very easy to do once you've watched one!!
