4moms Is Now Part of UPPAbaby—Here's What It Means for Your Registry
Learn what’s changing, how it affects your registry and which new UPPAbaby versions to add instead.

In This Article
UPPAbaby recently acquired the baby product brand 4moms, maker of the MamaRoo Swing, among others—and is integrating some of the 4moms products into their brand, while one is going away.
What does this mean for you as a parent? If you have registered for 4moms products (or were planning to buy any soon), there are a few things to be aware of—and in some cases, action to take. This guide breaks down which products are changing, what’s going away and the specific updates to expect—plus how to update your registry.
What’s Happening With 4moms and UPPAbaby?
Here’s the TL;DR: the 4moms brand name is disappearing from store shelves, including online at retailers like Babylist.
The 4moms brand is phasing out online, which includes removal from retail sites like Babylist. As products sell out, they will not restock.

If you’ve added a 4moms product to your Babylist registry, you'll want to replace it with other products to ensure you get the baby gear you need (we have the swaps below!).
What’s Changing: Same Core, Refined Details
UPPAbaby’s versions of these popular 4moms products will keep much of the same parent-loved functionality—but with small changes, the UPPAbaby aesthetic and updated price points.
MamaRoo Smart Swing

The MamaRoo swing is an iconic baby product, and the good news is that it’s not going anywhere. It’s getting a slight facelift and will feature a sleeker, modern design. Here are the exciting updates:
The Mamaroo will now come with the newborn insert—so you won’t need to worry about purchasing it separately.
The updated swing will still have the same five motion features as the original, just with new names: cruise, bounce, sway, rock and wave.
The price is increasing from $299.99 to $349.99. It'll also come with a 3-year warranty.
What to do if it's on your registry: If you’ve got the 4moms MamaRoo on your registry, you'll want to remove it and add the UPPAbaby Mamaroo Smart Swing (or another option) in its place.

From $349.99MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet

While the MamaRoo Sleep Bassinet is now the UPPAbaby Soma Bassinet, you'll still get the same sleek, modern design and soothing features parents appreciate—just with a few tweaks.
The biggest feature addition is the breathable mesh mattress that adds peace of mind to parents and better airflow for baby. And the mattress is fully machine washable.
The storage basket at the bottom is now included with the bassinet; it was previously an add-on accessory sold separately.
The motion runtime will now be eight hours instead of four.
The price is $599.99, up from $499.99 (and you'll also get a 3-year warranty).
What to do if it's on your registry: If you’ve registered for the 4moms MamaRoo Smart Bassinet, be sure to update your registry with the UPPAbaby Soma or another option.

From $599.994moms Breeze Playard
The 4moms Breeze Playard is being discontinued completely. The UPPAbaby Remi Travel Crib & Playard is a great alternative to swap on your registry.
The Remi playard offers a safe place for babies to play or snooze but it has a few extras, including a side zipper access, which gives parents easy access to baby (and makes it a lot easier to transfer them when asleep). It’s also GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which means it meets strict chemical and volatile organic compounds emissions. These standards help limit baby’s exposure to chemicals.
One thing to keep in mind: while the Remi comes with a bassinet component like the Breeze, it doesn't include the changing station (though you can purchase one separately). The Remi is also a bit more expensive, at $399.99, compared to $329.99.
What’s Staying the Same
Aside from the design updates and prices (which are due to the current tariff situation), the functional look and feel of these products are very familiar. According to Babylist Senior Buyer Carolina Reyes: “Overall, users should know that in essence these are the same 4moms products they've come to know and love, upgraded to fit within the UPPAbaby brand.”
The core design philosophies that made 4moms a standout—like smart motion, parent-centered functionality and sleek aesthetics—are sticking around under UPPAbaby, just with a new name and a few improvements in design.
What You Should Do Next
If you have 4moms products on your registry, you swap them for the UPPAbaby versions, or another option, to ensure you get what you need. (If you leave them, they’ll show as "out of stock".) The easiest way to do this is to remove the existing product from your registry and add the replacement of your choice in its place.
