Briana Engelbrecht is Babylist’s Associate Editor, where she brings a deep interest to the perinatal period, postpartum life and early childhood development. A certified lactation counselor, former preschool teacher and mom of two, she brings both expertise and empathy to Babylist articles and guides. She’s especially passionate about helping parents feel informed and supported during pregnancy and the early postpartum weeks. When she’s not writing, you can find her ticking books off of her TBR, reading picture books with her littles, snuggling her cats and starting a new creative hobby.
