Your stroller already does a lot. It hauls your baby, your diaper bag, your coffee and half your life. But somewhere between the cup holder and the cargo basket, a new kind of baby gear has snuck its way in—and it looks nothing like the plain black caddy you might typically see.

We're talking about stroller bags, seat liners and accessories that are patterned. Or colorful. Ruffled, striped, gingham, printed with fruit. The kind of thing you'd actually want to carry to brunch, not just to the park. For a long time, stroller accessories were an afterthought—functional at best, forgettable at worst. But that's changing fast.

It tracks with a bigger shift in how parents are thinking about baby gear overall. Carriers and diaper bags have gone from utilitarian to outright fashion choices—something you coordinate with your outfit, not just strap on and forget. We’ve noticed style-forward parents across social media are accessorizing their strollers. Parents want products that reflects who they are, not just what they need. When you're logging miles of walks every week, there's no reason your setup can't look good while you do it.

Stroller Bags Are Having a Moment

If you've been on TikTok or Instagram lately, you've probably seen a few of these attached to stroller handlebars. They range in size but tend to be a bit bigger than your typical stroller caddy, and that’s because most of them can be used as a bag on their own. And they don’t just look cute—depending on which you choose, they have useful features to keep your essentials organized.

Some moms are even making their own stroller bags, but you don’t have to be a seamstress to get in on the trend. Barcelona-based brand MiniCoton—the basket-shaped bags with a ruffled trim—seems to be everywhere among stylish moms. Storq Baby by Kindred Bravely’s bright stroller party line brings a vibrant vibe, and Pehr’s organic cotton versions offer a softer, more classic feel. Independent makers on Etsy are also turning out styles you won't find anywhere else. The common thread: gear that feels designed for the parent, not just the baby. (Note: Pehr’s stroller bags are currently sold out, but you can still add one to your registry to snag one when they’re back!)

Strollers Are Becoming Statement Pieces

Parents are starting to see their strollers the same way they see their diaper bags and carriers—as something that can actually reflect their style, and brands are taking note.

At ABC Kids Expo this spring (a trade show where we get to peek at new and exciting gear), one of the things that kept catching my eye was how much color I saw everywhere. And not just neutral colorways with a single accent, but actual bold, graphic prints. It felt like a signal that stroller design is no longer an afterthought.

The Joolz Aer2 is a good example of where this is going. Their collaboration with carrier brand Wildride—available exclusively at Nordstrom—comes in a warm, textured boho colorway that's a far cry from the standard matte black frame. It even coordinates with Wildride's toddler carrier, for when your kid decides they're done with the stroller mid-walk.

But you don't need a new stroller to get in on this style trend. If you already have one you love, there's a lot you can do with it. A printed seat liner is one of the easiest swaps—the Storq Baby Superbloom liner is breathable, machine washable and genuinely pretty. It fits most strollers with a five-point harness.Their coordinating caddy bag snaps onto the handlebar and converts to a shoulder bag. And for YOYO³ owners, the color pack system lets you swap the canopy and seat fabric at the six-month mark without touching the frame (the Monaco navy stripe is extremely cute).

Wait, There’s Even More Whimsical Stroller Accessories

how to style your stroller graphic.

Think of it as the bag charm moment, but for your stroller. I’ve also seen parents taking the stroller bag up a notch with its own accessories. A beaded keychain, a personalized name tag, a pacifier pod in a print you actually like—small things that clip onto your stroller bag that add a little personality and fun.
