What’s on Alex and Jon’s Baby Registry?
From a clever travel system to comfy carriers, here’s what the couple is registering for.

Building a baby registry weeks before the baby arrives can feel like a mad dash—especially when you're balancing the excitement and anxiety that comes with the final stretch of pregnancy. But that’s where TikTok creators Alex Madison and Jon Bouffard found themselves while exploring the Babylist Showroom.
Preparing for their baby’s arrival has been equal parts eye-opening and emotional for the couple; they’ve been vocal about their experience with pregnancy loss on social media and felt apprehensive going into their second pregnancy.
“I think we were just a little bit naive going into pregnancy our first time,” Madison shares. “You assume that once you get pregnant, you're just gonna have a baby at the end. And that's not always the case.”
Now, at 32 weeks along with their second pregnancy, Alex and Jon are “cautiously optimistic” and finally ready to get excited about registry building.
“I didn't even know you were supposed to do a registry,” Bouffard admits. “So that shows you how much I know about what we’re doing.”
Not knowing where to start, the couple even turned to friends and family for advice—but the results have been mixed.
“We've asked people what they don't need, and what's interesting is everyone is so different,” Alex says. “What I've learned is: truly nothing because everybody has different opinions.”
Despite their initial confusion (like figuring out what a pack and play is), Alex and Jon found their rhythm, adding faves like a Nuna travel system that covers an infant car seat and stroller in one and a comfy BabyBjörn carrier that makes first-time babywearing easier.
As for finding their rhythm after the baby arrives, they’re taking a similar approach.
“We're gonna go with the flow and learn on the field when she's here,” Madison says. We're just gonna live and learn. We'll figure it out, right? Most people do.”
