What are the materials of Mabē carriers?
The carriers are made of a super-soft and breathable cotton/linen blend or 100% cotton, depending on the color. The fabric is gentle on baby’s sensitive skin.
Is the Monarch Carrier Hip Safe?
Yes, the Monarch Carrier is designed with hip safety in mind. Hip safety comes down to correct positioning in any carrier, and it’s essential to achieve a deep seat or “M” position, with baby’s knees higher than their bum. Monarch carriers are also CPSC and CPSIA compliant, tested to and having passed the most current ASTM standard for soft structured infant carriers.
What positions can the Monarch Carrier be worn in?
It offers three positions. The front, inward facing position is for babies of all ages. The backpack position is for babies 6 months and older. Front, outward facing is only for babies older than six months who can sit up independently.
