Best Answer: Aden + Anais does not use flame retardants on any of their products. The fabric and fibers used to make their garments are not chemically treated in any way.

Filling Is Coming Out
This playgym was purchased off my registry. It’s beautiful, but it sheds a lot of fibres that my baby ends up eating. The fibres get caught in his hands, clothing, and hair. The mat has only been washed once, and in accordance with the instructions on the care label. We chose this mat for the gentle materials (cotton and wood), but these fibres are polyester. If you choose this mat for those same reasons, be aware it will shed its filling.

Poor Quality
I was so excited to put this together for my newborn. . As soon as I started assembling, I discovered that the wooden arms don't even fit into the center anchor. . The wooden connectors are too big to fit in the slots provided. Now I'm left with a play mat that can't even be used and I can't even take it apart. .

The stuffing comes out of the pillow
The stuffing is not sewed into a sack so the only thing keeping it in is the loose mesh case. My baby is one month old, barely moving, and is covered in the pilled stuffing. Below is a photo of what I am talking about after one day.
This seems dangerous, when she gets older she will move more, pulling more stuffing out, and will be putting things in her mouth and I don't want her eating stuffing. This should be recalled

Overall okay - would not recommend
This activity gym was easy to put together. It’s beautiful and does everything you would expect. The only downside is the filling of the mat comes out constantly (even after washing). It’s all over the clothing, in hands and feet. We find globs of it on the floor too. I would not recommend it for that reason alone.
