Description

The all-wheel suspension of the Summit X3 lends itself to a very smooth ride, and the jogging strap keeps the stroller from getting away from you. It’s all-terrain (it can even handle stairs!) just be careful not to puncture the air-filled wheels. For a mall or a crowded store it’s too bulky, but for long distances and rough weather, it’s perfect. Because the glide is so great, you feel like you’re pushing far less weight than you actually are.

What really sets this jogger apart are the hand controls. Jogging strollers typically let you choose between lock and swivel on the front wheel, but the Summit X3 takes it to the next level by letting you toggle with a handlebar device (instead of having to bend over the wheel). As well as having the standard foot brake, it’s also got a handbrake to give you extra control on downhill jogs. Keep in mind that these features (although they’re great) do get in the way of some handlebar accessories. Between that and the lack of built-in cupholder, you might end up stashing your water bottle in the bottom compartment.

The canopy holds up to the wind of your jogging and the mesh side vents help your child enjoy the breeze too. The canopy’s got two nice Velcro windows (although some people prefer magnet-secured windows, which avoid the Velcro ripping sound). With the right adapter, you can click in a car seat and make it a travel system. Although you wouldn’t jog with a newborn, you can snap in a car seat and run errands with your newborn. It has a few recline positions, but not the full recline a newborn needs. The biggest downside is that some parents experience front wheel shakiness when the front wheel is unlocked. The weight is far from light, but not bad for a jogging stroller, and it’s roomy enough for older children (up to 75 lbs!). The fold is a bit bulky, so measure your trunk to check the fit.

What we  about it

It’s a roomy jogger with a windproof canopy and hand controls that make jogging with baby easy and safe.

Best stroller EVER
My husband and I did a lot of research before deciding on what stroller to get for our daughter. We are missionaries and travel overseas a lot so it was important for us to find a stroller that was all terrain. We have had this stroller for 4 years (unfortunately the airline we flew with recently broke it, however we will purchase another) It is seriously the best stroller we have ever used. This thing drives over rocks, in sand, over uneven sidewalks, pretty much anything. We traveled with it

Love it! Our most used stroller!
We love our jogger! It strolls so smoothly and easy to pack up in our car. My little one is so comfortable and loves the snack tray. We use this more than our regular stroller because it’s light weight and so much easier to get in and out of the car. Also, so much more affordable than the bob.

I purchased the stroller almost a year ago and have been running with it with my nine month old. I am also having the wheel shaking problem. I contacted customer service for which they were extremely rude and refused to honor any sort Refund until I submitted a video showing exactly what I was talking about. This is obviously not an unknown problem to them.

Keely if you see this you can know you created this negative review.

It is ridiculous to me that you cannot steer a running

Great for walking. Terrible for jogging
Terribly for jogging. Front wheel wobbles so bad you have to stop if you jog with any speed at all. Locking the front wheel is also not an option unless you only run in straight lines.

Out of the box this stroller is easy to set up and absolutely beautiful! A friend called it my “Versace stroller.” The ride is so smooth and the large canopy is wonderful. We primarily use if for hiking. It has absolutely beautiful features. I love the hand break! The canopy is great and I love the magnetic placement holders. I wish it had an adjustable handlebar and a larger storage basket. Aside from that though, it’s great! …unless you have squeaky brakes. And I mean, SUPER squeaky. Baby

Sturdy jogger with lovely one handed collapse

I received this product on behalf of Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest opinion. I enjoyed the design of the Summit X3—especially the extra windows and vents built into the umbrella. This jogging stroller felt lighter than other jogging strollers. This stroller was sturdy, reliable, and I love the one-handle collapsible folding feature. I do wish it was slightly easier to carry, though. This stroller initially had squeaking issues, but Baby Jogger Customer Support was super responsive.

Awesome stroller

I received this product for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest and thorough review.

I was very excited to receive the Baby Jogger Summit X3. We live an active lifestyle and are always on the go. This stroller is fabulous and fits our needs perfectly.

The assembly process of the stroller was a breeze. Aside from popping on the wheels and adding the canopy, it came almost entirely preassembled. I did get confused with how to put on the back wheels at
