Nursing pillows prop your baby up next to your breast so your arms don’t get tired from holding them, and the Boppy is one of the most popular nursing pillows around. (As well as saving your arms from getting tired, it’s great to have a hand free to check your phone!) There are fun slipcover prints, and you may also want to consider investing in a waterproof cover to protect your pillow from liquids.
The Boppy is more convenient to use than other nursing pillows because you don’t latch it behind your back. (Of course, that means the Boppy is also a little more likely to slip out of place, so latched pillows can be good too). Another nice thing about the Boppy is it’s multipurpose. Besides being used for nursing, this pillow can also be used to prop your baby, give your baby tummy time, or help them learn to sit. Babies tend to be happier when they can see what is going on: if you lean them against the Boppy they can watch you instead of the ceiling (ceilings are soooo boring).
Take note: Boppy may not be the best nursing pillow for people who are tall or have long torsos, because it’s a very squishy pillow -- other nursing pillows are taller and more rigid. Basically, if you’re tall, you may find yourself hunching with the Boppy, which defeats its ergonomic benefits. If you don’t have a long torso, chances are you’ll find the Boppy super comfortable -- it really is one of the most popular nursing pillows out there.
You can put the entire pillow in your washer (cold water, delicate cycle) and in your dryer (low heat). One trick for making sure the pillow keeps its shape in the dryer is to wrap a tennis ball in a pillowcase and add it into the dryer with the Boppy. The tennis ball will pummel the Boppy and knock the stuffing back into place.

Use it every time I nurse my baby girl. Helps support her so my arms don't get tired and once she's asleep I can actually lay her just on it on my lap and my hands are free to do things like type this review :)
I find that it is far easier to just grab a pillow on the bed or coach where I breastfeed. The pillow is used more for tummy time than anything else. It certainly isn't a necessity for a new mom.
Makes feeding comfortable and easy, still use it every day almost nine months in.
This was a product that I heard mixed reviews about; that it wasn't a necessity. I received this as a gift and it has become one of my most used products. This saved me during feedings as this was way more comfortable for me and baby then a pillow ever could be. It works with different nursing positions. I don't use it all the time for feedings now that my baby is bigger but we use it for allowing her to rest in an leaning position. When she gets older, we'll be able to use it for tummy time and to assist her in sitting straight up.
It was so helpful while breastfeeding my son. It would free up a hand so I could eat a snack or check my phone. It worked well to prop up my son, too, as he got older. I didn't get one with my first baby because I thought a regular pillow would suffice. I was gifted one with my second, and found out it does make a difference!
Grows with your baby - from helping to feed to propping to tummy time and now to help balance while sitting. Very versatile pillow.
Good size. Love all the different options of covers. Easy to remove cover and wash. But would often slip forward so baby wasn't as high anymore. Wish it had a belt or something to keep it close to me.
Love it! Fits and easy to take off and put back on!
I had a hard time using it right after delivery because the opening was a bit smaller than my swollen belly but it became my best friend very quickly once it fit around me and I still use it with my daughter who is eight months old! Very helpful with breastfeeding and support while holding baby. Also grows with the baby to use for tummy time and seated support. It is one of the few items I use all the time!
