Description
Picnic blankets are great kid gear that provide a spot for baby and family to sit or lie down without having to worry about damp surfaces.
This one by Little Unicorn, with an easy-fold structure and a carrying handle is super simple to fold out and fold back up when the play is over. The blanket is two sided: the one that faces the ground is a durable, thick polyester that is water resistant and sturdy; the one that faces up toward you and baby is super soft (kind of like a sleeping bag). The soft side is water resistant as well, but not waterproof, so try to get to spills with a cloth if you can.
What makes this version new is that Little Unicorn added a zip pouch that is perfect for holding your keys, cell phone, and other small items that can go astray while outdoors. We recommend leaving this blanket in the back of your car so you’re ready anytime you might need it. A note about cleaning: this item should be wiped clean with a warm soapy cloth.

Best outdoor blanket!
When I was little, my mom ordered a picnic blanket from a magazine with our last name embroidered on it and it folded up into this tote type thing. I always wanted to get one when I had my own family, but couldn’t get that one obviously. I’d found little unicorn when I was pregnant last year because of their narwhal swaddle and saw they had outdoor blankets that looked to be exactly what I wanted, so I added it to my baby registry. Nice upgraded version of a picnic blanket
I got this as an upgrade to our older, smaller blanket from another manufacturer. I like that it comes in different sizes and patterns. We'll see how it holds up over time - we like to use these blankets for beach, picnics, outdoor concerts, etc. so it'll get a lot of use once the spring arrives.

So cute! I bought the largest size and really like how much space I have for picnics now. With just me and a friend, we could spread out and get comfy vs a too small blanket where your legs dangle off and you must touch itchy grass.

Tell All Your Friends to Buy It
I purchased the 5x10 and absolutely love this blanket. I keep it in the car and have found myself in so many situations to use it. Beach, park, food truck festival, and night star gazing. Would highly recommend and the customer service is wonderful.

Wish I had bought this sooner!
This blanket is what I’ve been looking for - it is easy to wipe down, the size comfortably fits my family of 5 and then some! It’s super compact and easy to carry around, not to mention it’s light and not overly bulky!

Beautiful pattern, sturdy bottom liner
Have used a handful of times at the park with my kiddos. I purchased the largest size during a deep sale, which is why I purchased. We recently set it up at the park for my oldest Birthday Party and Friends and family sat and talked and enjoyed themselves.

Easy for mommas w their hands full
It’s easy to unroll and lay out. Large area. Material is perfect for food drink dirt etc. easy to wipe, durable. Easy to fold up. I like the Velcro closure with the shoulder strap.
