Overview

Description

Maxi-Cosi Swift Playard is a 3-in-1 playard that can be used as a newborn bassinet, toddler sleep space and sturdy play yard.

It weighs a little over 18 lbs, which makes it one of the lightest options of its kind. As the name implies, it has a super fast fold too which is great for taking on the road. It folds in one step with one hand.

Swift features a unique extra comfy 2-stage mattress that unzips to fit the bassinet, providing a smaller, cozier mattress ideal for newborns. As baby grows, the mattress zips back together to create a larger space for playtime and naps.

When not in use, Swift packs into the handy included carry bag.

Need to Find Recommended Sheets
I'm so happy we bought this play yard to use as a bassinet. I'm seeing a lot of reviews mentioning the pad not being waterproof, which is understandable. I do want to note that it's not recommended to use crib sheets in a bassinet. I found a few recommendations on forums for bassinet sheets that fit the Swift.

Disappointed and Frustrated — Not Waterproof, Not Washable
I'm writing this while on vacation with my sick infant, who has come down with a stomach flu. In the middle of caring for a feverish, vomiting baby, I discovered a major flaw in this product: the mattress pad is not waterproof—a basic feature I expected from a reputable brand.

What’s worse, the cover can’t be removed or washed. That means I was left with a soiled, unsanitary surface and no way to clean it or protect my baby. Incredibly disappointing.

We actually own four of these

It's only ok
It's large and pretty looking, good materials and very sturdy. I was hoping we could use it as a sleeper eventually but the mattress consists of 2 pieces so it's not smooth or comfortable for a baby to sleep on. Tried getting a mattress to remedy the situation but the size is not standard so I couldn't find anything on Amazon that would fit. So now we're using it as a playyard, for playing only. For such a high price this is definitely not ideal and I wish I didn't rely on ratings here and did a better search.

Must have maxi cosi!
Very sturdy and like that it’s elevated off the ground. Easy to assemble and take down. Bassinet attachment is great. Aesthetically pleasing. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend!

Eh.
Nice looking but we barely use it because well, I kinda hate it. The “mattress” /mat has a deep crease in the middle where it zippers. My LO doesn’t stay asleep long in it because of this. So if you’re looking for a travel crib, maybe look at other options. Also, it says to spot clean. The mat was stained after one spit up. Wish I would’ve done more research before putting this one on my registry. It is very pretty though :) lightweight and easy to fold up. Fine for play, just not sleep.

Nice but there are other nicer options at the price point
For the price, I wish we had gotten the Guava Lotus travel crib. This was full price when we got it, and while it’s really light, easy to set up, and nice overall, the Guava has a side zip door that would be really convenient. Plus they make sheets and other accessories. We only used the bassinet feature of this one a few times as we had our newborn nap in the primary bassinet most of the time unless it was a contact nap. Wish I had done more research outside of Babylist!!

Easy set up and our baby sleeps well in it. However it doesn’t seem comfortable and the split down the middle of the mattress makes our baby move around more.

Maxi-cozi play yard crib
This is an easy setup but I do think mattress is too hard of a surface for a comfortable sleep. We always end up padding it with blankets. I wish is was a bit more padded.

We love it!
The play yard was very easy to set up and easy to use. My little one keeps falling asleep in here and quicker than anything else! It's very sturdy and built strong enough to take with you. We are definitely interested in getting more products from this brand
