Overview
Description
This is not just a shape sorter; it’s a rolling, hands-on activity for toddlers.
The unique 12-sided wooden frame is easy for little hands to grasp, carry and roll, encouraging movement and exploration.
Kids can sort and match eleven different shapes, including a triangle, square, star and heart, fitting them into the corresponding slots.
The blocks themselves are made from mixed materials, including wood, tinted plastic and soft textured plastic, offering a rich sensory experience.
Different colors and textures stimulate the senses and keep children engaged.
When playtime is over, all the shapes store neatly inside the sorter, and the bottom panel provides easy access to retrieve the pieces.

This is a really well made, durable product that is entertaining for multiple ages of kids! My baby (11mos old), 3 yr old, and 5 yr old have all played with it! I love that they learn about colors and shapes at the same time with a toy that can withstand rough and tough play!

A high quality shape-sorting toy, though I personally struggled with the mechanism to retrieve the blocks after sorting

Overall, this Melissa and Doug Geometric shape sorter is a solid choice for anyone with young children. It vibrant, and has excellent colors and variety of shapes. The wood feels solid and high quality unlike some other shape sorting toys we have owned. I had one issue with the toy that brought down my review. The hole from which to retrieve the sorted blocks is covered by plastic flaps. It was so hard to get the blocks out! I could fit my hand through the hole and the toys were difficult to get…

A great take on a classic!

This is such a great take on a classic! It comes with a variety of shapes - some wood, some clear plastic, and some solid plastic with textures on it - all in fun and engaging colors! My 2.5 year old loves this! Easy to use, durable (when tossed by said 2.5 year old), and great for teaching color/shape vocab and working on fine motor. We've loved this in our house!

Great hands on play

This is yet another winner from Malissa and Doug. This geometric shape disorder is great for developmental play for infant/toddler. The materials are durable and easy to clean. Size of each piece and safety profile is adequate for use so this age group. We plan to use it and then pass it along when we are done.

I love how simple and easy this shape sorter is for my 2 year old to use. The colorful geometric shapes sorter is great for matching and fine motor skills. The flap on the back makes it easy to pull the small pieces out without my little one needing help. It’s perfect for independent play.

Great Learning Toy for Toddlers

Great toy for children’s learning. My child has enjoyed matching the shapes to the holes and has gotten quite good at it. It started out as a great toy for us to play together, I could show where different pieces went and my child could learn to do the rest. Well constructed and the variety of colors and textures seem good for engaging a toddler

Great Interactive Toy!

My toddler absolutely loves this toy! He’s enjoying being able to match the shapes and colors. It’s a great toy to play with independently or with an adult. The only thing he complained about is the hole to retrieve the pieces is a bit small.
