Best Answer: The Forest Green Velvet option is a luxe fabric. It is not performance fabric or considered stain resistant.
Will the chair stay reclined on its own or do you have to use your body weight to stay reclined? ?
Are you able to recline manually in the electric recliner?

I’ve had this chair for less than 2 months and it’s already pilling! For the steep price I would expect much better quality. Very disappointed!

Overall Still Love 3YRS Later
Absolutely love this chair. Have had it for over 3 years. No squeaking, still glides and rocks so well, I’m 5’7” and my husband is 6’ so it’s perfect for us taller people. It’s still fluffy. Extremely comfortable. Only thing that is a slight drawback is trying to keep it reclined all the way back means you have to kind of force it down, and if you sit up it’s instantly drawing back up. I also wish the footrest wasn’t as hard to close down - especially if you have a sleeping little on your chest.…

I am so sad to write this review because I love the way this chair looks and feels, but after only having it for two months our chair now creeks and squeaks so much that it wakes our newborn up while rocking (obviously the whole point of the chair is to soothe them and help aid in sleep!). For the money, I would not recommend unless your child likes to sleep to disruptive/loud sounds :)

Love it!! Buying a second one
Have had it for 25 months now and can’t count the number of times I’ve had to sleep in it through the night. Buying a second one for baby #2.

The glider we received was covered in grease. When we opened the box our “brand new “ chair was filthy. Very disappointed that we spent $600 and got a chair that was stained and dirty. I’m a week from my baby’s due date and was looking forward to using this glider in the nursery. Instead of offering a replacement Namesake offered a $52 credit to keep the chair and told me to clean it myself… now we are running into discoloration of the fabric due to the grease stains spreading.

It took over a month and a half for our chair to be delivered. Website showed chair available and ended up being backordered, zero communication from namesake and when I call customer service they had no answers.

We purchased this for our daughter as she is expecting her first baby soon. She absolutely loves it and says it is so cozy and comfortable. It also looks so good in the new nursery.
