- Disassemble the nipples and bottles, rinse them thoroughly and wash them with warm, soapy water using a bottle brush
- Ensure all milk residue is removed, then rinse again and sterilize the parts
- Sterilization can be done with a Philips Avent steam sterilizer, by boiling for 5 minutes or in a microwave sterilizer bag

Better for Older Kids Not for Infants

I received these bottle nipples through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Unfortunately, they didn’t work well for my baby. The nipple itself was narrow with a wide base, and my baby had a hard time getting a good grip on it, which made feedings frustrating. Another issue was that milk would often get stuck in the bottom part of the air/gas insert. These nipples are a great fit for the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottles, which I exclusively use for my baby.
They attach easily and securely to the top of the bottle and I don’t need to strain to take them off either when cleaning the bottles. They are easy to wash as well so residue from formula never has a chance to accumulate.

Extra Philips Nipples

My baby did latch on to these really well. He likes a more narrow nipple and flow 2 rate nipples worked best since he is 3 months old. We have a few of these bottles in the 4oz size that came with slower flow nipples so it is nice to have the extra faster nipples in flow 2 on hand to use in the smaller bottles. The milk does stay in the nipple of the bottle and the antic-colic seems to be effective. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing for providing me with this nipple set.

I got this pack of bottle nipples from Stellar Product Testing Panel complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I really like the wide nipples and they are sturdy! They don’t cave in while my baby eats and he seems to like the shape and use of them. The flow size is a teensy misleading as my baby is both breast/bottle fed and should use a flow 1 based on age, but does much better with this flow 2 size for a more natural flow rate. Overall, I definitely recommend and would purchase this product!

Received these through a testing panel. These nipples have been a great addition to my daughter’s bottles, perfect leak throughout the first 3 months of her life. The only thing is when we sterilized them they closed and we had to poke new holes.

This was useful when my loved one was extra fussy (I could get the bottle ready within 30 seconds!) I also appreciated the thicker material and the snug fit with the bottle. This set of Philips Avent Anti-Colic nipples in flow 3 is great! The nipples are consistent, and fit securely onto the Philips Avent Anti-Colic bottle with no leaking. It’s been super helpful that the kit contains 4 nipples so there is always at least one that is washed/clean and dry.
