Difficult to clean bottom side of tray!
So difficult to clean the underside. I don’t understand why there are so many edges/crevices on the bottom part of tray? Can’t even fit finger or sponge and dirt continues to build up. Why couldn’t they make it smoother on the bottom or less individual spaces. Please please please tell me why, Stokke??

Terrible Tray - Worst to Clean
The high chair is great, but this tray is the worst. The design underneath the tray is terrible and impossible to clean well. It takes forever to scrub the little holes and corners. Our babies love putting their hands around the edges so food gets stuck underneath all the time.

Suction sucks
I like the way it can easily come on and off for cleaning, but as others have said, nothing is willing to suction onto it. This is annoying bc I have to find other solutions to get the plate to stick.

Worth the money in the end
I was annoyed at the cost and so I tried to purchase an off-brand that claimed to be the exact same at half the price. It was returned the next day and this one was purchased. Pros: it clicks on and off super quickly, and it is very easy to clean. We're not quite at the stage where baby is grabbing the underside, but I think as long as it gets sprayed off after you're done, it will also be fine. Cons: We have the Elk & Friends suction bowls and I cannot get them to suction on to the tray. We

More cons than pros. Annoying.
For the cost of this tray, it has more cons than pros. I've been using it daily for 2 weeks now. It is very functional, but so annoying.

Pros:
1. Don't have to take it off to take baby out of the seat.
2. Baby is able to eat directly off the tray.
3. Easy to wipe the top and dishwasher/sink size friendly.

Cons:
1. Baby (10 months) is able to pull on it and it pops out the chair attachment (the part between the legs).
2. Stains easily with red/orange foods.
3.

Stains easily.
It looks great, and as some others have mentioned, the honeycomb design is tough to clean, but I throw it in the dishwasher and don’t think of it beyond that.

My biggest disappointment for this product is that it stains! My 6mo old spends more time playing with her food sometimes and I’ve only had this tray a couple of weeks and it is already stained orange from sweet potatoes and carrots.

For the cost, I was hoping for something that could withstand infant eating and still look nice.

Can’t use suction items
Nothing can suction to this. I bought a suction toy and a suction bowl: waste of money. I’ve tried adding water to the suction cups and even running under hot water to soften the plastic. This tray is a bit uneven so that might be why, but why charge so much for a semi-functional product?

For the record, our toy/bowl suction to every other smooth surface. This tray’s surface isn’t smooth.

Amazing except the tray - major design flaw!
We love our Tripp Trapp and would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for a HUGE design flaw. The tray is a pain to clean and the underside of the tray has 100+ tiny nooks and crannies that get food stuck in them because my child grabs the sides of the tray (don’t they all?!). How did this get overlooked in the design? The tray is now growing pink mold in these insane tiny holes that are impossible to clean (and I am a very thorough cleaner after each feed). The folks at Stokke should be proud of this

Great Chair, Frustrating Tray Design
I love the Stokke Tripp Trapp® high chair, but I’m really disappointed with the design of the tray. The honeycomb structure underneath is a nightmare for cleaning. Tiny fingers easily place food and messes into the little grooves, and it’s almost impossible to get everything out. Living in Canada, I’ve also noticed that due to the hard water, orange marks are starting to form in the honeycomb circles, making it look even messier.

While the top of the tray is easy to clean and clicks on
