Nothing to write home about
I echo that it's cute but only meant for bigger books. The smaller ones are not visible. Also, maybe it was just my luck, but it arrived missing the 10 screws required to assemble. Quite frustrating!

Not really that helpful
It’s cute but only larger books are even visible. Smaller books, and nearly every board book, completely disappear due to the depth of the pockets. Not many books can be stored here, either. I wish we had gone with something that allowed more books to be stored.

Pros and Cons
I love this bookshelf for a lot of reasons. It is baby/toddler height so they can select the books they want. It is designed so the covers of the books face out, rather than the book binding. And it is slim, made from recycled material, and very affordable compared to other bookshelves. The downside is that the book sleeves are deep so they swallow any small board books you may put in there. We stuffed the bottom of the sleeves with tissue paper so the titles of the board books would show out of the top. The design is better suited for larger books.
