About this Product
  • Mini-sized crib for small spaces
  • Converts to a twin bed with optional conversion kit
  • Made with sustainable New Zealand pine
  • Greenguard Gold certified
  • Hidden hardware

The Gelato Mini Crib is made for small spaces like teeny nurseries and shared bedrooms. The size is in between a bassinet and a standard crib: it will outlast a bassinet, but won’t get you as far as a crib.

But this little guy has a genius double function—it converts to a twin-sized bed that you can use for years. The crib sides become the headboard and footboard of the twin bed using a conversion kit (sold separately). The clean, modern design has round spindles and corner posts with feet in a playfully contrasting finish.

This crib is similar to the Origami from Babyletto. The two differences? The Gelato can convert to a toddler bed and the Origami has locking casters, so you have to tradeoff between growing with baby and moving from room to room.

New Zealand-based maker Babyletto is committed to environmental safety and sustainability; the Gelato Mini Crib is made with eco-friendly, non-toxic materials backed with Greenguard Gold certification, which means it’s been screened for 360 VOCs and 10,000+ chemicals.
