Overview

Description

The Chicco E-Motion Auto-Glider & Bouncer is a safe place for baby when you need to free up your hands.

The automated glider provides a comforting side-to-side glide that mimics a parent’s sway. You can also use the timer for 10 minutes of uninterrupted swaying, and advanced motion-sensing technology restarts it with a gentle nudge or baby’s natural movement.

AC and battery-operated options keep the E-Motion moving wherever you go. You can also switch modes to a standard bouncer, which puts your little one in control of the action.

The E-Motion features soft, organic cotton for natural comfort. The 3-point harness and anti-slip non-marking feet keep your little one safe and secure.

To clean, remove the seat pad to machine wash. When not in use, fold flat to conveniently slide out of the way for storage or easy portability.

Poor design, doesn’t recline
Too upright and doesn’t have options to recline. Even at 2.5 months it’s too upright for my baby. Waste of money and space. Highly disappointed as the idea of not having to rock it yourself was great but executed poorly. Way too expensive for what you get. I do like that it folds up but we needed to buy a separate rocker that reclines and he loves that one!

underwhelming product - Bouncer setting does not working effectively
The product is underwhelming for its price. The organic cotton cover is soft and pleasant and the gliding motion seems to work fine but when I put it into its "bouncer" setting it was moving at all, it was very rigid and not soothing for the baby. I am in the process of returning this item. I do not recommend.

Not good for infants
Not good for infants. Advertised for 5lbs and up however my baby from 6 to 9 pounds still was falling head over. There isn’t any support for an infants head or baby this small. It sits up rather vertical unlike a typical swing, so this in my opinion was part of the problem, and you can’t adjust the lean at all. The lever in the back that is supposed to keep the bouncer in glider mode got stuck all the time, falling halfway jamming up the glider function.

Ok product for the price... with modifications.
Pros: The only bouncer/glider we could find in this price range that both had organic fabric and a fold away design. Also, seat and buckle seem very comfortable & durable.

Cons: There is no head support which, at the angle this seat is positioned, is absolutely necessary to make this useable for a newborn. (We had to take a head support pillow from a different baby item to make this functional.) Also, the music just keeps rotating between all the songs and there is no way to make it stop

Not great for newborns
I got this thinking it would work for my newborn but the recline is too high and it seems like she will fall out. I waited for her to get a little bigger, but even at 8 lbs and a month old I am not comfortable leaving her in it.

A must for families
We bought this glider 3 months ago for our 4th child. I wanted something that had dual function and didn’t take up a lot of space. I really wish we had this with the other 3 because of its features. The clicking sound people are talking about is due to not properly closing the latch after storing and moving. If your baby is on a smaller side, you will need to use some head support but that issue applies to most of the products. Our baby LOVES to be held and transitions peacefully into the

Dangerous! Please read
You must Adhere by the age recommendations.
If your child can sit up or Is learning to do so then you will need to discontinue use of this item.
My daughter got stuck at the bottom since she is learning to sit up
And had a red face blue lips
2 times
We have to throw this away.
Our child luckily was able to cry out loud even thought she was not able to breathe due to the air restriction cause by her falling forward.
I urge you to be careful please.

I wanted to love it but cannot
The seat is too upright for a newborn with weak head control. The cord is super short. I really REALLY hate that you cannot pick on song or noise and have it play that one only. It makes a loud clicking when it's going back and forth - my other kids said it sounds like a turn signal (and they aren't wrong.) We ended up buying a different product that fits our needs much better.

Too upright and hard to bounce
There is no adjustment to how reclined it is. A newborn without head control just slumps to the side. It’s doesn’t get better as the get older, at 4 months he looks like he is going to lean forward and fall out.
Seat is also very hard to bounce. The side to side movement is minimal, but jerky.
I thought this would be the best if both worlds between the Baby Bjorne bouncer and the MamaRoo, but it fell short of expectations. I ended up buying the MamaRoo anyway.

Pros- battery option and folds flat.
